peter & cora } { of star wars and favorite movies

Stiles: [grabbing a very well loved DVD] Okay, this is like, my favorite movie ever.

Cora: Okay. [And she curl up on the couch with a bowl of chips]

Stiles: [and he will jump his scrawny pre-teen butt into the couch next to her and soon the Star Wars words start to scroll along the screen]

Cora: [and she will curl up next to him, shifting the bowl so that they can share more]

Stiles: [and he will let her, because he has moved onto staring at the redhead in school and Cora is like a sister again. Of course, he is going to say his favorite lines]

Cora: [which makes her smile as she listens to the story]

Stiles: [and when they get to the flight scenes Stiles bounces just a bit]

Cora: [she laughs] You really like the pilots, huh?

Stiles: I want to be one when I grow up.

Cora: Yeah? Like in the air force?

Stiles: Yup. Air Force Fighter Pilot, and then NASA next.

Cora: Sounds awesome.

Stiles: What about you? Any ideas on what you want to do when you're older?

Cora: [she shrugs] Haven't really been thinking about it lately.

Stiles: You could always come with me. I need a wingman. Scott won't be able to with his asthma.

Cora: [she pauses before shaking his head] I don't know. I don't like tight spaces.

Stiles: Yeah, but you have complete control of that tight space, and you have like, all the open air to fly it in.

Cora: [she shakes her head] Not how it works.

Stiles: Well, you don't have to fly. NASA needs people helping create and build things.

Cora: Maybe. I like science.

Stiles: I'm pretty sure NASA is like, a science nerds heaven.

Cora: Then I guess we'll see.

Stiles: [he grins, and then back to the movie his attention goes]

Cora: [and she'll just keep watching, munching on the chips]

Stiles: [and eventually the movie will end and he will hum the closing theme]

Cora: [glances over with a smile] That was a good movie.

Stiles: You liked it?

Cora: Yeah.

Stiles: There's five more in the series. We can totally watch them when you want to.

Cora: Sure. Sounds like fun.

Stiles: We could start the next one now?

Cora: Okay.

Stiles: [and he's all grins as he's up and changing movies.] This one is my favorite of all six.

Cora: Really?

Stiles: Yup. There's Yoda and Boba Fett and Lando... trust me.

Cora: I do.

Stiles: [and the movie will be swapped and he hops back on the couch] Do we need any refills before it starts?

Cora: [she shakes her head] I'm good.

Stiles: Okay! [and the next movie starts]

Cora: [and she'll pay attention for a while, but eventually she'll get bored and may fall asleep against his shoulder]

Sheriff: [and eventually he will find them in a pile on the couch and just sigh and put blankets over them]

Cora: [stirs a bit but only until she sees it's the sheriff and then she goes back to sleep again]
