puppy love } { of surprise reunions and future plans

Parrish: [so yeah, he's been debating about this all yesterday with the number on the hotel notepad. He knows that the Sheriff is not happy with Laura Hale. He knows Stiles is very not happy with her. But he and Laura were just friends, and he understood her reasoning for the up and go. The keeping Stiles from his kid, not so much, but people do stupid things they regret later.

Parrish knew that well enough. Exhibit one - his ex-wife.

But he wondered if maybe he could help the Sheriff and Stiles heal a bit by reconnecting with Laura and learning her motivations. Plus he could use a friendly face now that he was pretty much pointed out that he was no longer welcome in Beacon Hills.

Exhibit two - his ex-wife who was also the most-loved school teacher at BH Middle School.

He waits for a while, and finally around 9am he will pick up the phone and call her because calling is better than texting, right? Right.]

Laura: [normally Laura doesn't answer numbers she doesn't recognize but she's expecting a call back from a supplier and the guy mentioned he might call on a different number. She's in the middle of making Ben breakfast and answers without really thinking about it] Hello?

Parrish: [swallows. Yeah, that's the voice he remembers] Laura? Hi, um, this is Jordan. Parrish. Your sister gave Stiles your number to give to me...

Laura: [and there's a bit of silence for a moment because she's surprised before she manages to speak] Oh my God. Hi.

Parrish: Hi. I take it she didn't tell you I was in town with the Sheriff, huh?

Laura: No, she did not. [glances back over the kitchen counter at Cora who is definitely avoiding eye contact and encouraging Ben to eat faster] I knew the Sheriff was here because he's coming for Thanksgiving, but she may have left you out.

Parrish: Oh. Well, surprise?

Laura: Yeah. Definitely a good surprise though. How are you?

Parrish: I'm good. I guess. [rubs his neck] And you?

Laura: Good, yeah. Just working on breakfast.

Parrish: Ah. I thought you'd have been done by now since the Sheriff and Stiles left for the diner to meet up with Cora. I guess they weren't meeting her for breakfast.

Laura: Oh, no, they're already eating. But I've got six other people to feed, including myself.

Parrish: Oh. [because he can do math] I didn't know you had a family of your own now. Sorry, maybe I shouldn't have called...

Laura: What? No, no. I'm not married or anything. Peter, my dad and Malia plus Malia's best friend and my business partner Raph.

Parrish: Oh. [that's relief in his voice] Well, yeah that wasn't something I thought to ask Stiles. I probably should have.

Laura: Well, you're safe there. I'm still just me. [a beat] Did you have plans for today?

Parrish: No, not really. I kinda just came along with the Sheriff.

Laura: I'm working, but around lunch time I'm gonna be in DC for the tourist rush. If you want, we could meet up around three? I can make you a late lunch slash early dinner?

Parrish: That works. I'll keep myself hungry until then so I can enjoy it.

Laura: Good. Great. I'll see you then?

Parrish: Wait, where do you want to meet?

Laura: [and she will give him the park where they have the permit for Saturdays] You'll know us when you see us.

Parrish: Alright. I'll see you then. [and he is going to go out shopping quickly because he only brought out jeans and t-shirts and he wants to look at least nice but not like he's trying too hard nice. He will get there a few minutes early, walking around with his sunglasses on to just enjoy the warmth of the sun. The east coast was too cold for his California blood]

Laura: [the lunch rush is finally winding down when he makes his way to the truck, parked just outside a small picnic area with a few picnic benches and tables. The truck itself is a fairly decent size, with "Laura's" as it's name and a menu of a variety of different dishes for you to choose from, as well as a "special of the day" which usually sold pretty well. Laura herself is a little sweaty from the heat of the grill, but not unattractively so, with her long hair piled on top of her head and a bright smile as she handles the last few customers from the rush. When she sees Parrish, she waves gesturing for him to come closer] Hey.

Parrish: [he looks up as she calls out to him and smiles, making his way over. And let's be real - he's seen her all hot and sweaty more than once, and it's a good look on her, in his opinion] Hey. I'm not too early, am I?

Laura: No, not at all. What can I get you?

Parrish: How about you just cook for me? I'm not really picky, so I'll trust you to give me something good.

Laura: Okay. [and she'll go for the special since those are usually her favorite, and it does smell good as it hits the grill] So how've things been? Work good? [she may be hinting at other things, but work seems like a safe topic]

Parrish: Last two years have been kinda rough. I'm actually being forced to resign at the end of the year.

Laura: What? Why?

Parrish: I lost my run for Sheriff and the new Sheriff is related to my ex.

Laura: ... I take it the break up wasn't a pleasant one?

Parrish: Yeah, it was a messy divorce and she is one of the town sweethearts.

Laura: [there's a beat at the word "divorce" because oh, it was one of those break ups and no one told her he got married, but then the words "town sweethearts" happen and a name snaps into her mind sooner than she'd like] ... Don't tell me Andrew Rooney actually won the sheriff's election. [it's a better statement than "Don't tell me you married Angela Rooney" because that almost sounds jealous and Laura is totally not jealous nope.]

Parrish: [sorry Laura, you are only getting a nod in reply] Yeah, pretty much.

Laura: Then honestly, you're probably better off getting out of there. [and she'll scoop up some half the portions and serve them up to him, then go to grab her own] The Rooneys look like the Cleavers but I would not trust Andrew with the safety of anything.

Parrish: I just hate to think Sheriff Stilinski's legacy is going to be screwed over by that asshole. [and he will sit on the edge of the picnic bench, holding his dinner] Smells good.

Laura: Thanks. [turns to Raph and holds up her hand] I'm taking lunch. [and he gives her a high five before moving to take over the grill and Laura makes her way out of the truck and moves to join him on the picnic bench] Yeah, it definitely is not an ideal situation, but ... an election is an election. There's not much you can do about it once the results are in.

Parrish: Pretty much. And since I've been crashing with Stilinski since my divorce and he was really not happy living alone... when he started talking about moving out here I figured that maybe it would be a good change for me too. Stiles seems to be thriving out here.

Laura: That's what I've heard. [and there's a beat] Oh! I have a friend in Metro PD if you want to talk to someone there? They're usually pretty consistent with their openings.

Parrish: Really? [he perks up a bit] Yeah, that'd help. Beyond what's left of my retirement package, I'm living paycheck to paycheck. Having a job when I get here would make it a lot easier. Keep the Sheriff from supporting me.

Laura: [nods her agreement as she shifts to pull out her phone] Let me text her. I don't think she's on shift today, but I can find out when she is and when would be good for you to come down.

Parrish: Well, I'm here until Friday morning with nothing to do but play tourist and look for a few condos around where Stiles is living. I told Sheriff I'd do the legwork while he just focuses on getting to know Ben.

Laura: Good. So yeah, I'll let you know what her schedule is.

Parrish: Cool. Thanks. [and he's going to eat a bit, complimenting her on the food with specifics]

Laura: [and she will chat idly about the food in turn, not really sure where to go now]

Parrish: [and once the topics give way to awkward silence] Alright, I'm going to ask the question I know the other two won't, and I promise not to bring it up between us again. [he looked at her] Why did you never let Cora tell Stiles about Ben until he just happened to run into her? I mean, I get why in the first two years you'd be worried about being followed, but after that... it comes off kinda cruel on our end of the spectrum.

Laura: [yep, that's the question she knew was coming, and she's quiet for a moment as she tries to find her words here to make it make sense] It's not a decision I'm particularly proud of, honestly. And you're right - when we first found out she was pregnant and after Ben was born we were still trying to find somewhere safe, and I didn't want to risk someone overhearing it or figuring out what was going on - and to be honest, Stiles may be a clever codebreaker, but my sister is not. I just wanted to give us more of a cushion, to make sure that people would stop looking for us and give us a chance to settle. But by the time that was happening, Cora had stopped asking. She was more focused on taking care of Ben, and then she moved out, so ... it just hadn't come up again. Which I know, is a bullshit reason to not have just said that she could do it, but she seemed like she was moving on and doing better, so I didn't want to ... send her back to a bad place. I also didn't know if she would do it or not, so on the off chance that she found Stiles and did tell him, I'd rather I be the bad guy than her.

Parrish: But you realize in doing that, in just not telling her when you felt safe enough even after she asked - that you were also hurting Ben. Trust me, as the orphan - you never stop wanting to know who your parents are. You just stop asking when you see how much it hurts the person you're asking.

Laura: Cora never held back anything about Stiles from Ben. And neither did we. But I do understand what you're saying. [she doesn't believe that Ben was any less off for it, but she gets where Parrish is coming from]

Parrish: [nods] Sheriff is not happy with you. You wanted to have the focus of being the bad guy - girl you got it. In spades, I'm afraid to say. I'm not sure there's much you can do to ever fix that.

Laura: Maybe not. But it's better than the two of them being angry at Cora when she has to deal with them on a one-on-one basis. Because she will take it and internalize it because she'll think she deserves it, when it wasn't her fault. It was just a bad situation all around. And to be honest, I think she needed to learn to think for herself a little bit and not rely on my judgment so much.

Parrish: Maybe. And I'm sure it was hard on you too, being the bad guy in all this.

Laura: [she gives a small shrug] I can handle it. The important thing to me is that Cora has a good relationship with Stiles so that things don't get complicated with Ben down the line.

Parrish: I hope they can keep it.

Laura: Me too. They seem to be doing pretty well so far though.

Parrish: Which is nice. It's good to see Stiles happy again.

Laura: Same with Cora. Not that she wasn't happy with Ben, but she's happier, at least.

Parrish: It's a shame though that they aren't back together.

Laura: It is, but maybe they just need a little time first.

Parrish: I hope so, because Stiles pretty much swore off relationships. Something about not willing to get hurt a third time.

Laura: [her brow furrows] ... That's slightly melodramatic. [she shouldn't judge, but at the same time ... she's going to judge] Maybe he'll grow out of it.

Parrish: You've met Stiles, right?

Laura: You have a fair point there.

Parrish: But alright, that's it. Topic over now.

Laura: Alright. [and she'll pick at the last bits of her food for a moment, before reaching over to rest his hand on his. the gesture she hasn't really thought about until she actually did it, but once it's done, she's not going to take it back] It's nice to see you, though.

Parrish: It's nice to see you too. [he'll smile and squeeze her hand] And it's nice to see you happy again too.

Laura: [she nods with a small smile] It took a while, but we figured it out. And ... I kind of love the whole food truck thing. It's a lot of fun.

Parrish: Well, I mean really who can't love a food truck. It's food on wheels.

Laura: Exactly! So working with Raph on getting that off the ground was ... a lot of work, but worth it, you know?

Parrish: [finishes his meal] And hey, I can attest that the food quality is amazing.

Laura: [and that makes her smile] Good! I'm glad you liked it.

Parrish: So do you ever give yourself a day off from working this truck?

Laura: [she nods] We don't serve on Sundays. And weekdays are usually easier, since we only do the lunch rushes at local office parks closer to the house and don't do a dinner run, but Saturdays we try to grab some of the tourist traffic in DC.

Parrish: Smart business plan. You by chance wouldn't be available at all to play tour guide for me?

Laura: I think I could make that work. I think I can convince Landon to at least fill in for more me in terms of an extra set of hands.

Parrish: And what about today?

Laura: Today's a little trickier? I have to do the dinner shift, but if you want to meet somewhere around nine for a drink, I can do that?

Parrish: I can do that. And then you're off tomorrow so you don't have to be home early, right?

Laura: Nope. Breakfast on Sunday is usually more of a brunch anyway.

Parrish: Can your partner drive the truck back?

Laura: ... He can. But I'm usually kind of gross and overheated after work so I'm not sure if I'd be the most pleasant to hang out with right off the bat. And I'll reek of food.

Parrish: Would it be faster for you to go home to shower and come back, or do you want to use the shower at my hotel room? Stilinski said not to plan for him to be back until after Ben's bedtime.

Laura: I could do that. [she probably has a change of clothes in the truck somewhere] So long as you're okay with that?

Parrish: A hot woman taking a shower in my room. No, I have no problem with that at all.

Laura: [her head ducks a bit as she laughs] Duly noted. Are you sure you want to wait around and see the craziness?

Parrish: I can take a walk around the park. Maybe grab a nap under a tree or something. I seriously have no plans today.

Laura: Okay. [she pauses] I don't know if you're into museums, but there's a great one not too far from here. If you get bored with walking around.

Parrish: Depends on which one it is.

Laura: The Hirshhorn? It's an art museum mostly, but they also have a sculpture garden that's pretty cool.

Parrish: I'll go take a look.

Laura: Okay. [and Raph is starting to wave her back over] I have to go start prepping. But if you don't swing back around for food, I will text you when we're all wrapped up.

Parrish: When do you wrap up here?

Laura: About seven thirty?

Parrish: I'll come back around seven.

Laura: I'll see you then. [and she'll gather trash and head back to the truck]

Parrish: [and he will go walk around, visit the museum's sculpture garden because while he's not big into art, he likes sculptures, and will work his way back by 7]

Laura: [and the crowds will be thinning out because most people who eat after seven usually go to restaurants, and she'll flash him a smile when she sees him] Hungry?

Parrish: Always. [grins]

Raphael: Can I also get some of that? [shoves his head in the opening with a grin before waving at Parrish] Hi. Raphael Robinson.

Parrish: Hey. Jordan Parrish. Nice to meet you. [holds his hand out and up for Raph to shake]

Raphael: [will do that before a lightbulb goes off] Oh! You're the guy she wants to introduce to my cousin.

Parrish: If your cousin is the person at the police department, then yes, that would be me.

Raphael: Yeah, that's the one. I'm sure Gloria will be able to find something for you somewhere.

Parrish: I'd really appreciate it. Any tips you have on softening her up to give me a good position? [grins]

Raphael: [laughs as Laura hands him a plate] Softening up Gloria. You're funny.

Parrish: And now I have a bad feeling about this [looks at Laura]

Laura: [rolls her eyes at Raph] Gloria's tough, but she's a good cop. Show her you're a good cop too and you'll be fine. [and she'll hand off his food]

Parrish: That I can do. At least I have two good references as well. [Stilinski being the other. He will take the plate and find a place to sit]

Raphael: [will come over to join him while Laura wipes down the grill and closes up] So how long have you been in Beacon Hills?

Parrish: Not that long, compared to others. I actually joined the force maybe a year before Laura left. So seven years now, maybe eight?

Raphael: That's a long time for Beacon Hills. Though people tend to last longer there than Mystic Falls or New Orleans.

Parrish: Never been to either of those places.

Raphael: Mystic Falls is about an hour south of here. And New Orleans is New Orleans, but they all have their own similar struggles.

Parrish: Yeah. I pretty much just bounced around LA County as a kid, then went into the army, did a tour in Afghanistan, joined LAPD, and then transferred to Beacon Hills. Which is why this place is way too cold for my blood.

Raphael: [he laughs] Don't worry, you get used to it. Or you get yourself a personal space heater. [Laura. he's referring to Laura]

Parrish: Hey, as long as I don't need thermal underwear. They make you look lumpy.

Raphael: Nah, it doesn't get that cold.

Parrish: You guys get snow. That's cold for me.

Raphael: I lived in Boston, dude. This isn't anything when it comes to snow.

Parrish: Yeah, I'm so not straying North of this place anytime during the winter.

Raphael: Good plan. [a beat as he glances back towards the truck where Laura is still cleaning] Play your cards right you might not wind up that cold after all.

Parrish: [looks over at Laura and chuckles, rubbing his nose] You know she has good hearing. I'm not saying anything that could ruin my chances with that.

Raphael: [laughs a bit] Good answer. [though he's trying to pin down how much Parrish actually knows about her "good hearing", and it's a bit hard to read]

Parrish: I wasn't born yesterday.

Raphael: Uh-huh.

Laura: [and finally she emerges to hand off the keys and punch Raphael gently in the shoulder] Ready to go?

Parrish: Yup. [and he will stand up] I'm sure I'll see you again soon, Raphael.

Raphael: Oh yeah. [and he grins before turning and heading off to drive home]

Laura: [with her change bag in hand] So. Where are we heading?

Parrish: You still want to shower? So my hotel room would be the first stop.

Laura: Yeah, a shower would be good. [she feels sweaty and gross, and she'd like the chance to at least clean up a little bit]

Parrish: Then let's go. it's actually not that far from here.

Laura: [nods and follows his lead, letting her bag rest on her shoulder]

Parrish: So what would you like to do tonight?

Laura: We could still get that drink? Then ... see where it goes?

Parrish: Alright. I'll let you choose the bar. Though I'll warn you that I'm still a horrible dancer.

Laura: You weren't that bad. But I'll make sure that dancing is a minimal requirement.

Parrish: Now pool I can do.

Laura: I may know just the place, then.

Parrish: Good. [and really, they aren't that far. Just seven blocks and they are at the hotel]

Laura: [and she will let him show the shower before she goes to wash off the day]

Parrish: [and he will text the Sheriff letting the older man know that he needs a 30 minute warning before he comes back, and will get an eyeroll emoji back]

Laura: [and 20 minutes later she will be changed and showered, with her hair all wet and curly around her shoulders] Okay. I'm good to go.

Parrish: You're still as beautiful as I remember, you know.

Laura: [her smile softens as her head drops a bit] It's really good to see you too. Really good. [there’s a beat as one hand comes up to push her hair back] It always kind of sucked that our timing never seemed to work out back then.

Parrish: Yeah, tell me about it. I probably would have been better off just going with you.

Laura: Sometimes I wish you did. I got kind of crazy sometimes with only Peter and my dad to talk me down.

Parrish: Like how?

Laura: [she shrugs] Like with Cora. Probably could have handled that better. And with moving around all the time. Being in charge of everyone and responsible for them can be kind of ... isolating, I guess. That's part of the reason why I took time with you when I could back in Beacon Hills.

Parrish: [he walked over to her, reaching for her hand] Can I be honest?

Laura: [she glances up at him and nods, letting him take her hand]

Parrish: [he looks at their hands] That's part of the reason why I called you today.

Laura: Because you were feeling isolated?

Parrish: [nods] Isolated. Hurt. And wanting to just feel what we had again back then.

Laura: [nods as she takes another step forward] There's nothing wrong with that. But I gotta ask, since you're gonna be here - is this just a one off, or are you looking for more here? Because I can't promise I'm still that girl. [she can pretend, maybe, for on night that the rest of the world doesn't have to matter, but if they keep doing this, eventually it will. And she's not opposed to either, she just wants to know what he's looking for.]

Parrish: Hey, I'm not the guy either. But, I don't know. I just... I remember what we had was good. And I really want some good again in my life. Yeah, Stilinski and Stiles are angry at you, but I'm not. I get it, mostly. And I missed you. Like you said, timing was never right then. But maybe... everything that's happened back in Beacon Hills to me has been trying to get me here and tell me that the time is right now?

Laura: [she pauses, raking her teeth over her bottom lip as she considers his answer, and for the moment, it's good enough] Okay. [and then she pushes herself up on her toes and leans in to kiss him, because she's pretty much been wanting to do that all day]

Parrish: [and he will pull her closer, kissing her back with a hint of intensity that he's holding back, just wanting to lose himself in her for the night]

Laura: [yep, she is definitely good with that. They can just stay right here and ignore everything else around them though he may have to order her some food at some point because she was going to eat dinner at the bar, whoops. but that can be later as she meets his intensity and slides her arms around his neck to keep herself steady]

Parrish: [oh he's going to have to call down for more than that because um, the normal boy scout would be prepared. He's not. He wasn't expecting it so he is going to have to make a very embarrassing call to the front desk or head downstairs in his sweats to get some condoms if they are going to really go there]

Laura: [that's okay, Parrish, with a 16 Laura saved your bacon so you don't have to make that call if you don't want to]

Parrish: [thank you, Laura. That will allow him to all but rip your clothing off uninterrupted]

Laura: [yep. that is a very good plan. also steer her to the right bed please, she doesn't know who's is who's.]

Parrish: [yeah, he will because not going to have sex on the sheriff's bed. So he will guide her there and pull her down into his lap as he sits on the bed]

Laura: [and she will easily slide in to straddle him, her hand sliding down to pull at his shirt and yank it over his head]

Parrish: [and he will let her, and then lean in to kiss along her shoulder as his hands massage her breasts and his hips shift to push up against hers]

Laura: [she gasps softly at the touch, letting her hands wander down over his shoulders to brush over his abs. she always really loved his abs]

Parrish: [he spends a lot of time on those abs, so worship them all you want. He's going to just kiss her breasts now, because he enjoyed them]

Laura: [yep. a large part of this early foreplay is relearning each other and the parts they liked, but eventually Laura will get antsy and nudge him back further on the bed so that they can get to the main event]

Parrish: [and he's always been fine with her taking charge, so he has no issue scooting back and helping her get the rest of his clothes off so they can get going further]

Laura: [yep and once they are both naked she'll move over him to kiss him deeply again, trying not to think about how that has always felt better than the random one offs she'd had over the last six years, how it was pretty much exactly how she remembered it, and just focusing on the matter at hand. Her hand wanders down to slip around him, making sure he's ready for her]

Parrish: [oh, he's ready. in fact, he wants to make sure the same is for her so he's going to guide her hips around into a quick 69 with her]

Laura: [well, she will not complain, her hips pressing gently into his touch with a soft moan, continuing to move her hand against him, until moving to slide the condom on him]

Parrish: [his touch, his lips, his teasing tongue remembering all those sensitive spots like a child remembering how to ride a bike. He moans into her as she gets him hard as steel, needing her to wrap something warmer and wetter around him soon]

Laura: [it's not much longer before she swings around again, straightening into a sitting positon so that she can slide down onto him, moving slowly as she remembers how this feels and savoring it for the moment. She waits until she's fully seated on top of him, before slowly starting to move her hips to find a rhythm]

Parrish: Yeah, that's it. [he moans, hands on her hips and guiding her a bit to let his get that angle he knows she's looking for]

Laura: [it takes a second but there are definitely some pleased noises when he finds it, her hips coming down harder to keep that angle]

Parrish: You like that, baby? Come on, I know you can go faster. [he's a talker, apparently.]

Laura: [that really what you want, Parrish? Because she can go faster, picking up speed and even coming down a little harder as she pushes towards that edge]

Parrish: [he can take it. For some reason, when she was rougher he enjoyed it. His body was nice and firm and he could take a bit of abuse. It made him hotter, and he's going to talk dirty as a hand slid up to squeeze her breast, teasing her nipple]

Laura: [good, they're on the same page there, because something a little rough and a little dirty is exactly what she needs sometimes. she pushes eagerly into his hands, just relishing in the touch, before reaching down to tug him up into a sitting position so she can kiss him]

Parrish: [yeah, he needs that too, and he's going to sit up for her, kissing her hard as his fingers pull and twist her nipple, the other hand sliding to grab her ass, giving him leverage to push her harder onto him, getting nice and deep with each stroke]

Laura: [it doesn't take her much longer to approach the edge, grinding down against him with each stroke and nipping at his lip as she falls over the edge with a soft cry]

Parrish: [and he's just too excited to try and delay his own, and he's going to join her, grunting as he all but slams his hips into hers as his shaft throbs inside of her with each pulse of his orgasm]

Laura: [she slumps against him as she tries to catch her breath, her nose dropping to his shoulder and just nuzzling the nape of his neck for a moment, before dropping a soft kiss there]

Parrish: [and he will lead his head back, panting and still mostly hard inside of her as he relaxes a bit, giving her better access to his neck] God I missed that.

Laura: [hums softly, before placing another kiss there] Me too. A lot.

Parrish: Well, I'll be here all week. [smiles]

Laura: [she laughs] I think the sheriff might notice if I stuck around.

Parrish: He's with Stiles and Ben from when the kid gets out of school until Cora gets out of work.

Laura: Well, that's a rather large window.

Parrish: I just need to find us a few condos to look to rent. I can do that from until you finish you lunch runs. Plus you have to introduce me to this Gloria.

Laura: That is true. [brushes her fingers against his face gently] We'll have plenty of time.

Parrish: [and he will lean into her hand, closing his eyes] I like the sound of that.

Laura: Me too. [and her phone will beep from her bag and she'll slowly shift off him gently reaching for her phone and seeing a text from her sister] Looks like the Stilinskis are crashing at Cora's.

Parrish: Then I guess I should order us something to eat and some beers here. We'll hit that bar another day because we have a lot of catching up to do. [and pressing his hard shaft up into her again lets her now the kind of catching up he wants to do since they have the hotel to themselves for the night.]

Laura: [she grins a bit at that as she leans in closer, tossing her phone to the side as she leans in to kiss him again] Sounds good to me.

Parrish: [and he's going to kiss her back, smirking against her lips] When we're done, you're going to be glad you don't work the truck tomorrow because you're going to be walking funny. [and he's going to roll them so he's on top, starting to thrust into her slowly, teasing her mostly to get her back going before he swapped condoms]

Laura: [she laughs as she lets him lead, sliding his hands over his back before curling her fingers so that her nails dragged against his skin] That a promise?

Parrish: Oh yeah. I plan on fucking you all night long until you can barely remembering your name. [and then he'll kiss her, his hand guiding one of her legs over his shoulder to give him a nice angle to thrust deeper into her]

Laura: [that ... may be the best plan she's ever heard and she will easily give into the kiss, gripping his arms tightly as she held on for the ride]

Parrish: [and he is going to keep that promise, with food and alcohol to fuel them along until she is out of condoms and they are both two sweaty, sated lovers tangled in each other’s arms]

Laura: [she hums softly as she curls up against his shoulder, letting her fingers trail against his chest] I told Cora to text me when the sheriff's on his way back.

Parrish: Yeah, he's supposed to give me a thirty minute warning too. [kisses her] He may not be happy with you, but he knows I missed you and he doesn't want me to sacrifice a chance at being happy again with you.

Laura: [kisses him back] Good to know. Still, I don't want to rub it in his face.

Parrish: Then we'll smuggle you out before he gets back. Maybe get a rope ladder out the window.

Laura: [she snorts] Something like that, sure.

Parrish: Or I can rent a car and come to see your place?

Laura: [shifts and rests her chin against his chest] Sure. That works too.

Parrish: Does this mean I'm invited to Thanskgiving Dinner too?

Laura: I would be disappointed if you didn't come.

Parrish: Now Laura, it's Thanksgiving. We probably shouldn't do that while your family is around. [smirks]

Laura: [and she's snorting again] Oh, that wouldn't be happening anyway. I'm going to be cooking all day and then taking a very long tryptophan nap. All you're getting out of me on Thursday is food.

Parrish: So no help stuffing the turkey? [leaning in to kiss her]

Laura: [hums as she kisses him back] Nope. And you're not going to want to be in that kitchen either.

Parrish: Then I guess I'll just find someone to play football with.

Laura: [hums softly] Good luck.

Parrish: We'll figure something out. And it'll only be a few months before we're back. Long as Gloria hires me.

Laura: We'll see. [and her eyes close slowly] But you did a very good job so I may be about to pass out on you.

Parrish: Sleep works. And I may have left one condom for the morning. [he will kiss her again, and then roll onto his back and pull her into him so they can go to sleep]

Laura: [yep, she will follow him and it won't take long before she's out like a light]
