Stiles: [and he is going to refill drinks for him and cora and sees her and looks over at Klaus before deciding that yup, he's going in for the talking] Hi, you're here with Klaus, right?

Cami: [glances over a bit flustered before nodding] Uh, yeah. I'm Cami.

Stiles: Nice to meet you, Cami. I'm Stiles. [he holds out his hand to her]

Cami: Nice to meet you too, Stiles. [there's a beat] Wait, I've seen you before. Have you ever been to New Orleans?

Stiles: Guilty. Klaus had invited a few of us down last May so we were there for a few weeks. The place is amazing.

Cami: [nods a bit before her fingers snapped] You were on the balcony with him one night.

Stiles: [rubs the back of his neck, grinning] Yeah, we spent a few nights out there talking.

Cami: Well, it's nice to actually put a name to the face.

Stiles: And it's nice to be able to meet and talk with you. So how did Klaus rope you into coming all the way to the west coast?

Cami: It was Andrea actually. She insisted Klaus bring a date to the wedding. She didn't want him feeling like a third wheel.

Stiles: Aw, and you saved the brooding artist from having to go stag. That's so sweet.

Cami: Also she thought that he might be less likely to antagonize Tyler's dad.

Stiles: But that part is fun. [so much sarcasm. Or is it?]

Cami: [she laughs] I'm sure. But I'm sure Tyler and Caroline would appreciate it if their reception didn't end in a fist fight.

Stiles: True. Caroline will probably strangle someone with her garter if they ruin her wedding day

Cami: Hence the amateur shrink.

Stiles: Still in school?

Cami: Working on my Masters. I took some time off so it's been slow going.

Stiles: You should talk to Laura Hale if you haven't already. She's got a career in that here.

Cami: Laura. That's ... Talia's daughter?

Stiles: Yeah, the older one. [he looks through the crowd and points to where Laura and Jason are dancing] Cora is the younger one, and my fiancée actually.

Cami: Oh, congratulations!

Stiles: [grins] Thank you. Maybe we'll get to see you again next year at our wedding.

Cami: Maybe. Though Klaus seems to be getting along pretty well with Talia so he might not need his buffer.

Stiles: Well, how about I invite you, and you can ask him to be your date?

Cami: [eyebrows go up] You've just met me and you're inviting me to your wedding?

Stiles: Why not? We've got a year to get to know each other. We can be like, pen pals or something. [grins]

Cami: [she laughs] So this is a pre-emptive invitation.

Stiles: I need more people to sit on my side. Cora's got a huge family

Cami: But yours isn't?

Stiles: Well, I have my Dad, Melissa - she's my stepmother. And Scott, my stepbrother. His wife, Allison. Then they have two kids, and my daughter. I've got friends, but most of them are mutual with Cora. Cora's got both her siblings, who are both married and Laura has four kids, and Derek's got two. Then her folks, her uncle Peter and his partner Nadia and they're going to have a baby before the wedding. And Peter's got an adult daughter Malia who's Cora's cousin, and she's married and they have a little boy. [enjoy the tl;dr Cami]

Cami: Big family. But if you put your friends on your side that should even things out.

Stiles: Yeah, but a lot of our friends would be hers first. Like Tyler and Caroline and that whole crew? All hers.

Cami: I'm not sure Klaus is one to stick to convention. He doesn't really care what side of things he sits on.

Stiles: Well, as long as he doesn't try to steal the bride, I'll give him a chair in the middle of the aisle.

Cami: Contrary to his track record, he doesn't make a habit of breaking up weddings.

Stiles: Well, if he did I would probably try and break my hand on his face.

Cami: Which would not be good. Bruised knuckles do not go with a tux.

Stiles: Nor does a pissed off bride to be.

Cami: Nope. No, Klaus only intervenes in weddings where it's absolutely necessary.

Stiles: Well, he did good by that one. I mean, if he hadn't, we wouldn't be here celebrating the wedding for this very happy couple.

Cami: No, we would not. Nor would we have Andrea's and Elijah's to go to this Christmas - which, given that it's a New Orleans wedding is going to be ... crazy.

Stiles: Which I think I'm invited to... well, Cora is. I think. Too many things happening lately.

Cami: I believe so, but you'll have to double check with Andrea. [and she will point out where Andrea and Elijah are sitting - though it's more like Andrea is sitting in Elijah's lap, laughing at some story that Fiona is telling] You know, I've known the Mikaelsons a long time, but no one has ever been able to make him smile and relax like that.

Stiles: Yeah, it's usually a sign that you've found the right person.

Cami: It's nice to see him let his hair down. Not that I didn't like him before but he's always been very ... contained.

Stiles: Sounds kinda like Peter before he met Nadia.

Cami: Peter? That's Talia's second, right?

Stiles: [nods] Yeah, her brother too.

Cami: [nods] I'm still trying to keep all of the names straight. They sort of threw me into the deep end.

Stiles: Hey, at least you know the basics.

Cami: Basics are good. But I want to make sure I have them right, and I'm kind of iffy on that.

Stiles: Want me to point out the rest to you?

Cami: That would be awesome. Faces would help.

Stiles: [and he is just going to point out everyone with a name and their role in the pack]

Cami: [and she will take it all in, filing them all away for later]

Stiles: [and he saves Cora for last, checking to see if she wanted him to come back to her]

Cami: [Cora glances back and waves with a smile, before turning back to her conversation with her brother. He can come back if he wants, but she's not going to interrupt] She seems great. At least from what I've heard.

Stiles: Yeah, she is. [totally in love]

Cami: [smiles a bit over the edge of her drink] How long have you two been together?

Stiles: Well, technically since we were 16, but there was a gap in there for a few years.

Cami: You took a break?

Stiles: .... It's um... complicated. [rubs his neck a bit] She needed space, a lot of mixed signals, I got married... yeah.

Cami: [eyebrows go up] You got married?

Stiles: Yeah. I mentioned it was complicated, right?

Cami: Didn't realize it was that complicated.

Stiles: Oh, it can get very complicated when I try to explain. Let's just say there was a lot of cause for the divorce and I got my daughter.

Cami: You're happy now. That's the part that matters.

Stiles: Oh, totally. Happiest I've ever been.

Cami: Good. I'm glad.

Stiles: So what about you? [subtle, yes?]

Cami: [takes a slow sip of her drink] What about me?

Stiles: Yeah, so I know you're an amateur shrink and you have that bar across the way from Klaus' place, right?

Cami: Yep. That about sums it up.

Stiles: So no personal life at all? Completely void of any interests?

Cami: I'm an Irish Catholic bartender. We're left little room for anything else but drinking and stewing with our guilt. [mostly sarcasm]

Stiles: [laughs] Well, you have a great sense of humor at least.

Cami: [grins] You need one in New Orleans.

Stiles: I thought you really just needed a lot of beads, some kind of musical talent and a high alcohol tolerance.

Cami: That's Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras only happens once a year. It's surviving the other three hundred sixty-four that's the tricky part.

Stiles: Ah, and this is why I would never last. I'd want every day to be Mardi Gras.

Cami: The other days are exciting on their own. Just not in the same way.

Stiles: Ah. But I'm kinda attached to Beacon Hills so I'd probably only come down to visit.

Cami: Guess you'll just have to choose your visit carefully.

Stiles: Pretty sure Cora would hog all my beads anyway.

Cami: [thoughtful noise] Probably would rather that be done in private.

Stiles: Yeah, probably true but hey, you never know.

Cami: That is true.

Stiles: Though if other guys try to toss her beads....

Cami: That would be a problem.

Stiles: Yup. Though then Klaus would probably have to bail me out of jail.

Cami: He'd probably wind up in jail with you.

Stiles: .... See, I like him more and more when I hear stuff like that.

Cami: [laughs] Most people wouldn't consider that an asset.

Stiles: Having company in jail is always a plus. Keeps you from being paired up with a big, hulking guy with tattoos and a wandering hand.

Cami: Fair point. Though you'd probably just wind up in the drunk tank with the other college students.

Stiles: I'd prefer that. My face in prison would just make me a target that I don't need to add that complication to my relationship list.

Cami: No, definitely not.

Stiles: Well, I should probably get these drinks back. See you on the dancefloor later?

Cami: [nods as Klaus is starting to make his way back over] Yeah, see you.

Stiles: [grins and gives Klaus a wink as he heads back to Cora with their drinks]

Cora: [glances over with a smile when she sees him getting closer, one hand coming out to find his] Hey.

Stiles: Hey. Sorry, got into talking to Cami.

Cora: Is she nice?

Stiles: Very. Good sense of humor. And smart.

Cora: Good.

Stiles: So, you want to dance?

Cora: I would love to dance.

Stiles: Then let us dance and blow everyone else out of the water. Except Caroline and Tyler because Caroline still scares me.

Cora: [laughs as she takes his hand pulling him towards the dancefloor] She's not that scary.

Stiles: She's totally scary.

Cora: [she pulls him close, slipping her arms around his neck] She's organized.

Stiles: I think she would have picked out my underwear today if I had let her.

Cora: Okay, that is probably true.

Stiles: There are certain things that you just don't do. Picking out a guy’s underwear is one of them, unless it's like super sexy kinda underwear and then only you're allowed to do that.

Cora: Ahh. I see. Does that go both ways?

Stiles: It can. Do you want me to buy you super sexy underwear because I will. I totally will.

Cora: [she gives a bit of a shrug] Call me curious.

Stiles: Alright. Challenge accepted. [evil grin]

Cora: [she laughs] I'd say nothing too uncomfortable but I have a feeling I won't be in it long.

Stiles: Yeah, no, trust me, you won't have anything to worry about at all.

Cora: Good.

Stiles: See, now I'm distracted about what I can get you...

Cora: Already?

Stiles: There's always a part of me what's distracted by you when I'm with you, but you added in sexy underwear to that and now totally distracted.

Cora: Well, we can't have that. I don't think Caroline will like my distracting you from her special day.

Stiles: And now I have the image of Caroline dragging me out of a Victoria Secret by my tie in her wedding dress.

Cora: [laughs] How will she know where you went?

Stiles: I don't know, but it's ruining my happy place now.

Cora: [sighs softly before leaning in to kiss him gently] Come back to me.

Stiles: [kisses her back] Alright. I will just fantasize about you in sexy undies later tonight.

Cora: Good plan.

Stiles: So focus on dancing and Caroline and we're good.

Cora: How about dancing and me?

Stiles: I was going to focus on you later when we're alone and I can safely fantasize sexy undies on and off of you.... [kisses her]

Cora: [laughs as she kisses him back] Fair enough.
