Cora: [and then it's down to just the two of them at the bonfire, and Cora's cuddled into his side, warm and lazy and pleased] Good birthday?

Stiles: Pretty damn good. Though it's kinda weird too.

Cora: How do you mean?

Stiles: Next year, I'll be up in Berkley on my birthday. Maybe Scott will come up, but it won't be like this. We won't all be here like this.

Cora: Maybe not. But just because it's different doesn't necessarily mean it will be bad.

Stiles: I didn't say it was bad. Just... weird.

Cora: [nods once, but doesn't comment on it after that. She doesn't really get it. She never had the normal high school experience]

Stiles: So your boyfriend is now legally a man. How do you feel about that?

Cora: [nods with a small smirk] I am very proud of him.

Stiles: When I was having breakfast, my dad looked at me and was like “I have to say, I never expected you to live to this day.”

Cora: [laughs] That's always a vote of confidence.

Stiles: Yeah, isn't it? [grinning] I'm pretty sure the last three years haven't been all that good in my favor.

Cora: Hey, some things were pretty good. [she was in those last three years, thank you very much]

Stiles: Yeah, and I mean let's see... before you met me I was a holy terror, and then there was your brother trying to kill me, a darach trying to kill him, and alpha pack out to kill everyone, a notgitsune who was bored and trying to kill all the things...

Cora: Okay, I get your point.

Stiles: And then I kinda took two road trips to Mexico... a hit list... should I go on, because I can. For like a week.

Cora: [sighs as she shifts to face him more, drawing her eyes to meet his] But you also met an awesome girl and get laid. A lot.

Stiles: Well, there was that. And now she doesn't have to worry about any pesky statutory claims. [smirks]

Cora: [she snorts] I'm not that much older than you.

Stiles: What was the phrase? In how we measure years? [grins]

Cora: [there's a bit of a look] Do you not want to get laid tonight?

Stiles: And you look so beautiful for your age.

Cora: [a look because very thin ice, Mr. Stilinski]

Stiles: So how about them Mets? [please don't hit your boyfriend on his birthday]

Cora: [better. she smirks as she leans into him again] I heard they won their spring opener.

Stiles: I know. It gives me those kinds of hopes that will eventually get crushed and I will need comforting as the summer goes on.

Cora: I will be here for you. Don't worry.

Stiles: I love you.

Cora: [smiles softly] I love you too.

Stiles: Thank you for being here too. I know it was a long drive and you're missing classes for me.

Cora: [she shrugs] It's mostly finals stuff at this point. I'd rather be here.

Stiles: I'd rather you be here too. I don't like not having you here.

Cora: Classes will be over soon and you will get to have me all the time.

Stiles: Yeah, I may be really excited for that. [leans in to kiss her gently]

Cora: [hums softly as she kisses him back] Me too.

Stiles: [stays nice and close] I just hope you don't eventually get tired of me.

Cora: [smiles before shaking her head] Not possible.

Stiles: You say that now, but forever's a very, very long time.

Cora: If I haven't gotten sick of you by now, I think I can handle forever.

Stiles: [there's a sly smirk] Good. [leans in to kiss her again] Cause one day I'm gonna make an honest woman outta you. [teasing tone between kisses]

Cora: [she can't help but grin a bit at that, leaning in to kiss him back] Is that so?

Stiles: Uh huh. You, me, helping protect Beacon Hills at night, and t-ball and boy scouts during the day.

Cora: I like it.

Stiles: [grins and yup, just going to enjoy kissing her now, because this is a good life he's seeing in his head]

Cora: [will kiss him right back, warm and slow because kissing him is one of her favorite things]

Stiles: [totally in the top three for him. the other two spots also have her in them, but aren't just kissing]

Cora: [yep, those are probably pretty good too]

Stiles: [mmhmm. Totally awesome and she likes it too. Hell, she's the only one he's done the #1 spot with, so she completely owns that one.]

Cora: [he's the only one she's done it with too. he's the only one she wants to do it with, the only one she can imagine doing it with. Anyone else would just feel wrong in so many ways]

Stiles: [obviously these two were made for each other.]
