canon au } { post-5a, of gun ranges and baseball games

Hal: [knocking on the door, bag slung over his shoulder] Olivia, you in there?

Olivia: [grins as she bounces to the door and pulls it open] Hey.

Hal: Hey. Good to see your family's letting you take a vacation.

Olivia: I asked very nicely. [and she'll step back to let him in]

Hal: [and he'll just toss his bag on the floor and look around the room] So how long you get off?

Olivia: Just the weekend, unfortunately.

Hal: Well, we'll just make the most of it. What do you want to do first?

Olivia: [takes a deep breath before pulling him in for a warm kiss]

Hal: [grins into the kiss, putting his hands on her hips. Yeah, he's totally fine starting here]

Olivia: [good. she wraps her arms around his neck to pull him in closer, starting to edge them back towards the bed]

Hal: [nope, he will go willingly, kicking out of his sneakers and unzipping his hoodie and shrugging out of it]

Olivia: [which she will follow with by slipping out of her tank top and turning them so that his back was to the bed and she can push him back onto it]

Hal: [laughs as he falls back] Someone's really got an itch she wants scratched.

Olivia: Let's just say it's been a while. [shifts so that she's straddling his waist] And I missed you.

Hal: Oh, I missed you too. You're very hard to get out of my mind.

Olivia: [she grins at that] Oh really?

Hal: Yeah. There's a shortage of perfectly formed breasts in this world.

Olivia: [her eyes narrow] Did you just quote Princess Bride at me?

Hal: If I did, it was purely coincidence. [smirks]

Olivia: Uh-huh. [she leans in to kiss him again] It's still a good line.

Hal: [and his hands go up to massage her breasts] And they are amazing breasts.

Olivia: [her eyes close as she tips into his hands, leaning in to deepen the kiss and pull him closer]

Hal: [He will go with her, kissing her back just as deeply as he pulls her more against him. He's missed her, and it's more than evident soon enough just how much he wanted her now that she was there]

Olivia: [and it doesn't take her long to start to pull off the rest of their clothing and fishing the condom out of the pocket of her jeans]

Hal: [and he will scoot back on the bed, knowing at this point Olivia was a top kind of girl and he enjoyed the sex way too much to even care to complain.]

Olivia: [good. she appreciates it. And it doesn't take much longer to slide down over him and start riding him hard]

Hal: [and he's going to groan, enjoying it and thrusting into her just as hard as she rides, hands on her hips and fingers digging into her skin]

Olivia: [she moans as his fingers dig in rocking her hips down against him, feeling her whole body tightening up before the wave crashes over her and she drops down against his chest]

Hal: [yeah, he was right there with her, and he's panting] Damn... yeah... fuck Olivia...

Olivia: [she grins as she brushes a kiss against his shoulder, before shifting off him and settling next to him] I missed you too.

Hal: [laughs and looks up at her, his fingers pushing her hair back a bit] Your family needs to give you more days off on this coast.

Olivia: [her head tips into his hand] I can't help it if most of our jobs are in the Midwest. [there's a beat as she lets her fingers trace against his chest] Though it looks like we're going to be in Beacon Hills for a while.

Hal: [thinks] That's in the mountains to the east of here, right?

Olivia: Yeah. It's where Cora's from.

Hal: Ah, that's why I've heard of it before. Stiles' lacrosse team.

Olivia: Yep. They've got something pretty nasty there, but when we find it, we're going to exterminate with extreme prejudice.

Hal: Just don't go blowing up the city or something.

Olivia: Not planning on it.

Hal: Good, because I'm not really fond of the idea of sex in prison when I'm visiting you.

Olivia: [she laughs] They couldn't catch me.

Hal: [laughs] Yeah, and then they'd end up finding out about me and tailing me to find you.

Olivia: You're saying you wouldn't run away with me? Live on the run like that story about that couple with the guns?

Hal: Yeah, pretty sure I did that, the cops would be the least of our worries. My mom would find us and kill us both.

Olivia: And we don't want that.

Hal: Nope, not at all.

Olivia: Guess I'll just have to settle for a better solution than blowing up Beacon Hills.

Hal: Guess so.

Olivia: I will get cracking on it. [a beat as she leans in to kiss him again] After this weekend.

Hal: Yes, after the weekend. [he kisses her back awhile, then leans back a bit] I don't have to be worried about you after you leave, right?

Olivia: [she looks at him for a moment, before shaking his head] Nah. I'll be fine. It's nothing I can't handle. [this might not be the same once we pick up the SPN end of things again, but they'll come back to this later]

Hal: Alright. Just, you know, if you ever need a hand, you can call. I can try and help?

Olivia: [there's a pause because she doesn't want Hal anywhere near her real life. He's her escape and she doesn't want to compromise that, but she just shakes her head as she leans in to kiss him again] I'll be fine. Don't worry.

Hal: I'll hold you to that. [and back to kissing and more awesome sex. Because he got a box of condoms on his way down]

Olivia: [smart boy. she is down for this plan, and more of her on top, but eventually they will have to leave the hotel room for sustenance and fresh air. They can save room service for later]

Hal: [and he's been to LA a few times now, but mostly the tourist places and the beaches, so he's not really sure where to go]

Olivia: [picks up her phone] So what are you in the mood for?

Hal: [thinks, then looks at her] Mexican?

Olivia: Mexican. [tap tap tap, does some searching] ... There's one a couple blocks from here?

Hal: Awesome. [holds out his arm to her]

Olivia: [and she will take it, grabbing her jacket as they head out the door] So what have you been up to?

Hal: School, mostly. Helping coach with some lacrosse stuff. I'm Assistant Captain this year.

Olivia: Is that a good thing?

Hal: Well, it's not captain of the team, but next year. [grins] Next year I will rule them all.

Olivia: [she laughs] I'm sure that will go well.

Hal: The power, I can taste it. [evil overdramatic laughter]

Olivia: [laughs some more as they walk] It sounds like things are pretty good so far.

Hal: Yeah. I mean, I'm doing good everywhere. School, lacrosse... girl department. [he smirks at her]

Olivia: [glances back at him] Is that so?

Hal: Well, there's really only one, and I don't see her nearly as much as I'd like... but again, those perfect breasts...

Olivia: [she laughs] So it's just me, huh?

Hal: Well, you're the one I want to be with. I'm not gonna lie, drunken frat parties aside, I don't got anything serious going on.

Olivia: [she glances back to him, watching him for a moment] I'm not really a sure thing, Hal. I can't promise you anything.

Hal: [he looked at her a moment] I'm not asking for promises.

Olivia: Okay.

Hal: [and they walk a bit more] Do you know what you want though?

Olivia: [she glances down at her hands before shrugging] I've never really done something like this before. It's always been just ... [sex]

Hal: Well, if that's all you want...

Olivia: I don't ... [she huffs because she isn't really sure how to explain it] ... I really like you. [she looks back at him earnestly, hoping that he'll read between the lines and take her hand without asking too many questions]

Hal: [he looked at her a moment, then nodded] You're just not used to doing relationships.

Olivia: [she nods] There's never really been a point. [it was more efficient to just bang and move on because the other person may be dead tomorrow] I don't know what to do.

Hal: You just do what you feel is right. That’s all.

Olivia: That's it?

Hal: That's it.

Olivia: Why do people always make it seem so complicated?

Hal: Because people look at what media tells them it's supposed to be.

Olivia: Well, the media is dumb.

Hal: Exactly.

Olivia: So we can just ... keep doing what we're doing.

Hal: And just see what happens.

Olivia: Okay.

Hal: [and look food place] Looks like we found it.

Olivia: Perfect. [and they will go inside and grab a table as she takes in the food] I don't think I've ever had Mexican that wasn't like ... Taco Bell.

Hal: Oh you haven't really had Mexican food then.

Olivia: I figured as much.

Hal: What do you normally get at Taco Bell?

Olivia: Chicken quesadillas and one of those crunch wrap things?

Hal: [nods] Okay, you trust me?

Olivia: In theory?

Hal: Enough to order for us both?

Olivia: [she considers for a moment before nodding] Sure. I think I can handle that.

Hal: Awesome. [and he will get a thing of fajitas and then two of everything in the al a carte menu]

Olivia: [and her eyes will scan the menu as she orders but so much of it looks like Greek to her that she doesn't dwell on it too much]

Hal: [and of course there is chips, salsa, and queso to start]

Olivia: [which she is familiar with so she will dig into those] Do you eat Mexican a lot?

Hal: only in California. There isn't really any good restaurants in Boston. Up there is more Italian and Greek.

Olivia: Definitely have never had Greek food. And my Italian experience may have been limited to pizza.

Hal: Yeah, you need more real food. If nothing else the salt in all that fast food will kill you.

Olivia: So I've been told. [she's pretty sure her job will get her first] We just don't always have a whole lot of options.

Hal: More vacations then. I'll show you a whole new world. [laughs]

Olivia: [she grins] It usually depends on who's actually buying the food. If it's my dad, he tries to get us to eat a bit healthier but it's still like ... sandwiches and salads and stuff. If it's my uncle, he's a fast food junkie, but sometimes he cooks, which is good.

Hal: And it comes to regions too. I mean, there's food here I never knew existed on my coast, and at the same time I can't get some decent sausage and pepper wedge to save my life.

Olivia: We're mostly in Kansas. Where the land is flat and the food is boring.

Hal: Maybe they will let me kidnap you for a holiday and I can take you home with me.

Olivia: Maybe. There's something we're working on for my uncle, but maybe when that gets wrapped up I can get a week or something.

Hal: Sounds like a plan at least.

Olivia: [she smiles a bit] Good.

Hal: Good. [grins at her as he eats a chip]

Olivia: So you've got two years left at Berkeley?

Hal: Yeah, then I gotta decide if I want to go to grad school or get a job.

Olivia: What are you majoring in?

Hal: Business. Sport entertainment focus.

Olivia: You want to be a sportscaster or something?

Hal: That or just being in the business. Maybe owning a team eventually.

Olivia: A lacrosse team or another team?

Hal: I'd be down for a baseball team if not.

Olivia: What team to do you root for?

Hal: Red Sox.

Olivia: Red Sox? That's actually their name?

Hal: Yeah, the Boston Red Sox.

Olivia: [wrinkles her nose] Team names are so weird.

Hal: [laughs] Yeah, sometimes.

Olivia: Baseball is that really long game right? With the plates and home runs and stuff?

Hal: .... Oh, I'm kidnapping you for like, a month. Your family should be ashamed of themselves.

Olivia: [she rubs the back of her neck] It's not their fault. We didn't really have any in ... the area.

Hal: No, no, that's still something they should have taught you. I mean, you have what, four guys? And not a single one of them told you about baseball?

Olivia: We had other things to worry about. [like firing a rifle and hand to hand combat. being from an alternate universe is hard]

Hal: Nope, I can't forgive them for that.

Olivia: [and now she feels a little defensive] What's the big deal? It's just baseball.

Hal: I'm just kidding, Olivia. But baseball is like an American staple.

Olivia: [she relaxes, a little, but she just thought she could brush it off like she did most pop culture references] Not the part of America I was from.

Hal: So more football?

Olivia: We didn't really do sports.

Hal: So you just... you've been doing the family business stuff all your life then?

Olivia: [she shrugs] Yeah, pretty much. For as long as I can remember, it's just the way it is.

Hal: [and look, the food is there, and he's not sure what to say]

Olivia: [and now she feels like she said something wrong, so she'll just try to divert the conversation to something more ... neutral] So ... which one should I try first?

Hal: [points at the enchallada.] Go big or go home.

Olivia: Got it. [and she'll pull that plate forward first, keeping her eyes on her food as she tries to figure out how to approach it]

Hal: [he licked his lips a moment, and then] Did I say something wrong?

Olivia: [glances up at him again, before shaking her head] No. ... Maybe I did?

Hal: I guess I just don't know what to say sometimes?

Olivia: [she pauses for a moment] Look, I know I don't ... get stuff, sometimes. I'm trying to catch up.

Hal: No, I mean that's fine. I just... I don't know what you don't know. I guess I was wrong thinking maybe you having a guy household you'd be into sports.

Olivia: [she shrugs] You could always teach me?

Hal: I could. I mean, I have no problem doing that. It'd be fun. I just... I don't know how to know if you'd like it or not, and I don't want you to just do things cause I like it.

Olivia: I'd say that we could teach each other things, but all I really know how to do is shoot a rifle.

Hal: Well, that's one thing I don't know how to do, so we've got one thing for sure. Baseball for me to you, rifle shooting you to me. Just don't shoot me. That's all I ask. [grins]

Olivia: [she laughs] I can do that. I can't promise you won't shoot yourself though.

Hal: Do you know how to patch me up so I don't bleed out at least?

Olivia: That I do.

Hal: Then we're good.

Olivia: Good.

Hal: So go rifle shooting, I'll shoot myself, you patch me up, and we'll go to a ball game and get ice cream.

Olivia: Sounds perfect.

Hal: Awesome. [and back to eating food, hopefully the atmosphere is lifting a bit]

Olivia: [yes. she feels a little like she's blowing her cover of growing up in the zombie apocalypse and is just starting to enjoy all the different foods]

Hal: [one day he's going to learn. Probably in a very scary way. But today is just then being young and adorable]

Olivia: [yep. and once they're finished they will head back to the hotel room and give them a repeat of their afternoon activties.]

Hal: [yup. this is the best weekend ever]

Olivia: [pretty much. and since it is baseball season, they could probably make good on that trade now if they wanted]

Hal: [it would be the playoffs. Totally Dodgers vs. Mets]

Olivia: [and she's sitting on their hotel bed with the popcorn, squinting at the screen] So the pitcher throws the ball and the batter hits it, and then he has to run as many bases as he can?

Hal: Right, but if someone catches it before it hits the grass, then it doesn't count.

Olivia: And they go to the next batter?

Hal: Yeah. Three outs, and you change sides. You get nine innings to get as many guys around the bases as you can before the third out.

Olivia: That seems ... so long.

Hal: It is. But going to a game is more about the sport. You go to be with people and hang out. Sure, you're watching the game and waiting for those moments that are awesome, but you're also having fun with your friends.

Olivia: So this is better at an actual game.

Hal: Oh yeah. Most sports events are.

Olivia: Okay. [kinda. she thinks she gets it now]

Hal: [and look, there's a home run and Hal does the obligatory cheering]

Olivia: [perks up and squints as she watches] So that means they score, right?

Hal: Yup. He hit the ball hard enough to get it out of the park and into the stands. So he will get to run them all since the other team can't get the ball, and anyone already on a base gets to go home too.

Olivia: So what if there was someone on all the bases?

Hal: That's called a grand slam. It's rare that it happens.

Olivia: [she nods a bit] Okay. I think I'm getting it.

Hal: Awesome. [grins]

Olivia: Shooting a rifle is way simpler.

Hal: I guess we'll see when you get one in my hands.

Olivia: I think you'll be okay. You just gotta brace yourself when you shoot, like you're taking a hit in lacrosse.

Hal: So is this our plan for tomorrow? Take me to a shooting range?

Olivia: Or find somewhere isolated to put cans on fence posts. [which is basically how she learned]

Hal: We'd have to get out of LA. There’s a lot of gun laws around here.

Olivia: Right. I guess we can do the range. Are you allowed to bring in your own guns? [just because she's used to working with her own stuff]

Hal: .... I don't know. We can call and ask eventually.

Olivia: [she nods] We can worry about it when we're actually going.

Hal: Totally. Wait until then to worry.

Olivia: [she nods before turning her attention back to the TV] Right now, focus on baseball.

Hal: Right. Baseball. [and he will reach over for more popcorn, enjoying the time with her and the game]

Olivia: [and eventually she will get bored with the game because baseball is SO LONG and once the popcorn is gone, she will opt to distract him]

Hal: [and he is easily distractable]

Olivia: [so baseball is forgotten in favor of distractions and eventually sleep]

Hal: [yup, and it's much nicer sleeping with someone than alone]

Olivia: [agreed. She hasn't really done it much before him, but she kinda likes it. A lot]

Hal: [and he really just enjoys holding her at night as they sleep]

Olivia: [and since she still gets up at the buttcrack of dawn out of habit, she's going to roll over to face him and watch him sleep like a creeper, her finger tracing shapes against his shoulder as she waits for him to wake up]

Hal: [he's a jock and used to early morning practices. But he will get the feeling he's being stared at and chuckle] Like what you see? [and then he will open his eyes]

Olivia: [she grins a bit at that] Generally speaking, yeah. You're not completely awful to look at.

Hal: Well, it's always nice to be reassured that I am aesthetically pleasing.

Olivia: Happy to help. [and she leans in to kiss him gently]

Hal: [and he will grin, kissing her back, pulling her a bit closer to him as he does so]

Olivia: [one arm snakes around his neck, keeping him close and indulging in those lazy early morning kisses until her stomach starts to complain and she pulls back] So. Breakfast then finding a gun range.

Hal: Good plan. Best not to shoot on an empty stomach right?

Olivia: Definitely not. You should hit the shower first and I'll try and find a range. [if you let her go first, she's going to use all the hot water]

Hal: Or we could go faster and shower together? [evil grin]

Olivia: [she laughs] Are you sure that won't take longer?

Hal: Eh, it'd be worth it. But hey, you're choice. [and he's going to climb out of bed and since he's still naked, going to just grab a new pair of boxers from his bag and walk towards the bathroom]

Olivia: [she rakes her teeth over her bottom lip, considering for a moment, before deciding screw it and slipping out of bed to follow him into the bathroom]

Hal: [yeah, he's a horrible enabler. But he will make it well worth it and then they can actually shower and have fun rubbing soap over each other]

Olivia: [yep, which is actually pretty fun all things considered. they're teenagers, they're allowed to be ruled by their hormones]

Hal: [totally. and eventually the water will force them out by turning cold, and he will help wrap her in a fluffy towel before wrapping one around his waist and rubbing at his hair] So I can figure out breakfast while you call the range. That work?

Olivia: [nods as she dries off] Works for me. [and with that she will go call around]

Hal: [and he will find them this little cafe that does brunch and snags them a spot on the reservations because LA] Okay, I've got us a reservation.

Olivia: [glances up] And I found an outdoor range that lets you use your own guns.

Hal: Two for two. Looking to be a good day.

Olivia: Yep. Just let me get dressed and we're good to go.

Hal: [and they can finish dressing, go eat, and then off to the range?]

Olivia: [yep! it's pretty empty since it's still early in the morning, so they don't have to have their hearing protection up until they start shooting] Okay, so do you want to go with the rifle first or start with something easier like a handgun?

Hal: Which is easier to learn?

Olivia: [she rakes her teeth over her bottom lip as she considers] The rifle is easier to aim but has a bigger kick. A handgun is easier to carry, but harder to aim.

Hal: Let's go with the rifle. That way I can feel good about myself in being able to aim.

Olivia: [she laughs, before stooping to her duffle to pull out her rifle] Alright. [and then she hands it off to him and moving to stand behind him] You want to use the line of the rifle as your sight line. Which is why it's good to keep the rifle up and close to your face, but not too close so the hot shell doesn't hit you in the face. [she glances at him over his shoulder] Are you right or left handed?

Hal: Right [he's listening, his fingers playing over the rife]

Olivia: Okay. Use this shoulder - [she taps the left one] - to brace it and hold the bulk of the weight, while your dominant hand is here - [she moves his right hand to the barrel] to keep the barrel steady. [once he's holding it properly, she steps back] See how you can follow the barrel as a straight line from you to the target?

Hal: [and he shifts the gun, trying to find a good place for it to settle against his shoulder and he was holding the rifle. He looked down the barrel and nodded.] Yeah, yeah I can see that.

Olivia: Okay. You're going to want to brace yourself for the kick, but don't lock up too much. You want to try and redirect the force from your shoulder to the ground so relax your knees a little and keep your feet about shoulder width apart to keep yourself steady.

Hal: So kinda like when I'm expecting to shoulder check a guy on the field that's coming at me?

Olivia: Exactly.

Hal: Alright. [and he can do that, lowering his center and getting his knees bent and bouncy]

Olivia: [she waits for him to finish settling, before taking a step back so he doesn't stumble into her] Take a deep breath, and as you exhale, pull the trigger. [and with that, she will adjust their hearing protection so that they both won't blow their eardrums out]

Hal: [he looks for the target, and while he wants to impress her, they are both going into this knowing he has no clue what to do, so he's just hoping not to make a fool of himself. But with an attack 15, he doesn't do half bad at all, but he groans and rubs at his shoulder] You weren't kidding about the kickback.

Olivia: [she shakes her head] You did better than me. I fell on my ass, but I was like a half a foot shorter and fifty pounds lighter.

Hal: Well, you describing how to prep my body helped a lot. But do they make like things you can put against your shoulder to help?

Olivia: [she shrugs] I don't know. I just got used to it.

Hal: How long did it take? [he stops rubbing it, going to heft the rifle again]

Olivia: [she shrugged] A couple months? But I used it pretty consistently. [she takes a step back again to give him some room, before her hands move to his hips and adjusts one leg so that it's sitting behind him a little more] Try that.

Hal: [he will let her move him] Alright. Step back. [and the boy is apparently a natural because that's a nat 20 as he shoots]

Olivia: [her eyes widen as she goes] Damn. Not bad.

Hal: [he looks up and laughs] Well, I've got a good teacher.

Olivia: [teasing] Or you got lucky.

Hal: What, I can't be a natural?

Olivia: [still teasing] If you're such a natural, do it again.

Hal: Alright. [and he will line it up and....yup, that's a 3]

Olivia: [she grins, before leaning to kiss his cheek] I'm sure you'll get better with practice.

Hal: [laughs] You just distracted me with your hotness.

Olivia: I'm sure I did.

Hal: [and he's going to try again, taking that deep breath and... 19. And he's going to just smirk at her]

Olivia: [she laughs] Better.

Hal: Alright, let's try this handgun now before my shoulder decides to quit on me.

Olivia: [nods as she takes the rifle from him before pulling out the handgun. She does a quick gun safety tutorial before placing the gun in his hand] For this one, you don't want to support the barrel because it'll burn your hands. So again, use your left hand to hold the grip and your dominant hand to support under that hand like this - [moves his hands to show him] As I said, it doesn't have as much kick, but it does kick, so you're going to want to keep your elbows firm, but still loose, and keep your stance same as before.

Hal: [he nods, trying to wrap his hands around the gun.] This isn't how they hold guns in the movies, that's for sure.

Olivia: When you can do it easily with two hands, then you can graduate to one. [smirks] Use the barrel to aim again, but you're going to want to aim for the center of gravity - a tri-cluster right in the middle of the chest.

Hal: Okay. [and he's going to focus, and this isn't as comfortable for his as the rifle had felt. But he takes that deep breath and.... 16]

Olivia: [grins as she squints at the target] Not bad!

Hal: [he shifts his arms a bit, looking for something a bit more comfortable, and he's going to take a few more shots in a row... 2, 10, 1, 6, 15] Yeah, I think I like the rifle better.

Olivia: [she laughs a bit before taking the handgun from him, and firing off three solid headshots into the target, leaving a nice gaping hole] As I said, it's harder to aim. But once you get used to it, it gets easier. And it's good to have in close quarters when you don't have a lot of room to aim.

Hal: [he just watches her] And I didn't think you could get any hotter...

Olivia: [she glances over at him with a grin] That so?

Hal: Oh yeah. Sexy and deadly...

Olivia: [puts the gun away safely before she moves closer] But not deadly towards you.

Hal: Which I am very, very grateful for and will aim not to ever make that a reality.

Olivia: Good. [and she leans in to kiss him]

Hal: [yeah, he will kiss her back, ignoring the two guys coming on over her shoulder and eying Olivia's ass]

Olivia: [but she will notice eventually and roll her eyes as she pulls away to look at him] Can I help you, boys?

Guy #1: Just admiring the gun rack, sweetheart.

Olivia: Mmmm-hmmm. [turning back to Hal] Do you want to go again or are you ready for lunch?

Hal: Oh, I think I'm good for lunch.

Olivia: Okay. [and she'll pack up to start to head out]

Hal: [and the guys will just leer but will let them go]

Olivia: [and she will try not to be annoyed because she's gotten used to people leering at her in the other universe and she's kind of disappointed that guys have the same habits here]

Hal: [once they are outside] I'm sorry about that. Just ignore those jerks.

Olivia: [shakes her head] I've dealt with worse. Where I'm from guys don't really keep their hands to themselves. [and she stabs them, followed by threatening to sic Ben on them]

Hal: Yeah, if they tried anything, they'd get an up close and personal look at my fist.

Olivia: Only if I didn't hit them first.

Hal: [smiles at that] I'll let you get first dibs then on anyone trying to get fresh with you.

Olivia: [she grins] I appreciate it.

Hal: I think after lunch though I'm going to have to hit the road and get back to school.

Olivia: [pouts a bit] I was worried about that.

Hal: Yeah, sadly the real world is calling and telling me I have a paper due Thursday I haven't even started.

Olivia: [she sighs before nodding] Alright. We'll just have to do it again before I head back east.

Hal: Think you can come up Berkeley way?

Olivia: [she nods] I'll see if I can head up there before I head back to Kansas. [except she won't. Things will crop up with the book and Rowena and she'll go AWOL but they can make plans for that for now]

Hal: Awesome.

Olivia: So. Lunch?

Hal: Yup.

Olivia: [and off they go to lunch and eventually they will head back to the hotel and say their goodbyes, and she drive back in Beacon Hills to see her brother and her cousin, much peppier than when she left.]

Hal: [and he will return to Berkley and back to school and stuff]
