Isaac: [and he will pick up his phone at his desk and call Malia to check on her]
Malia: [answers the phone with a wince] I was just about to call you.
Isaac: I think I already know. Joys of the bond. Where are you?
Malia: My dad's. Talia's going to take Cameron and Gavin and we're going to head to the hospital.
Isaac: I'll talk to Stilinski and then meet you there. I love you.
Malia: Love you too. [and she hangs up before holding her hand out to Peter to help her up] Okay. Let's go.
Peter: [helps her up gently] I've got you. Come on, sweetheart.
Malia: [gets up to her feet and off they go to the hospital!]
Isaac: [and he will be there waiting at the ER doors]
Malia: [is loaded into a wheel chair and reaches for Isaac's hand as she goes] I think they're coming faster than Cam did.
Peter: Second babies have a habit of that. It’ll be faster and easier. [kisses the top of her head] Take her, Isaac. I'll see you both after.
Isaac: [squeezes her hand] I already for the paperwork started so let's go.
Malia: [and off they go to the baby delivery room! And a few hours later, there is a beautiful baby girl]
Isaac: [and he is completely enamored]
Malia: [is lying there, relaxing and watching Isaac hold her] I know that look. I've clearly got some competition.
Isaac: Yeah, I'm sorry, my heart has found another woman to love.
Malia: Traitor. Especially after I carried her for nine months.
Isaac: Oh, I'm sure you will be able to win me back to your side. [goes to sit next to her]
Malia: Mmmm-hmmm. [and she'll smile softly as she sees her daughter again] How's she doing?
Isaac: She's tiny. I don't remember Cam being this tiny.
Malia: Cam grew like a weed. It's hard to remember what he looked like before he started.
Isaac: I think she has your father's eyes.
Malia: Oh, now we'll never hear the end of it.
Isaac: At least he has his own toddler to fuss over.
Malia: At least there's that. [she pauses, moving to shift up into a sitting position and holding her arms out to him] Can I?
Isaac: Nope. She's mine now. [said as he shifts to hand the baby to her]
Malia: [smirks a bit as she takes her in her arms, cuddling her close] She's perfect.
Isaac: So you can see why I fell in love instantly?
Malia: I do. But we have to give her a name.
Isaac: I named the last one. [kisses her forehead]
Malia: [smirks and hums as she looks down at her daughter. Her head tips to rest against his shoulder as she thinks] Catherine? We can call her Catie.
Isaac: I like that.
Malia: Though ... Catie Lahey may be a bit too rhyme-y, so maybe just Cate.
Isaac: But the rhyming is cute.
Malia: Only for so long, until the kids get a hold of it.
Isaac: True.
Malia: [she nods] Cate. But you could always call her Catie.
Isaac: I could call her whatever I want. She is my daughter.
Malia: [she laughs] Very good point.
Isaac: Our daughter. Our very beautiful, tiny daughter with your father's eyes.
Malia: Mmmhmmm. Wait until Cam finds out.
Isaac: At least he already has the uncle for a puppy
Malia: He does. That is true.
Isaac: But speaking of him, you both should probably rest, and I should go home and change and get your dad home and Cam tucked in. I'll be back later though, okay?
Malia: [sighs and nods] Okay. We'll manage until then.
Isaac: [he leans down to kiss Catie's head, and then his wife properly] I will be back soon.
Malia: [hums into the kiss] I'll see you then.
Isaac: [and off he goes on his errands]
Malia: [and she will hand her daughter back to the nurses and probably pass out for a bit while she waits]
Isaac: [and he will sneak back in and just slide into bed with her and nuzzle against her neck]
Malia: [she doesn't stir right away, but she will curl into him a bit, responding to the presence of her mate and keeping him close]
Isaac: [and it's been a long day and he will be quiet and soon fall asleep with her]
Malia: [and she will probably wake up in the middle of the night because she's sleeping a lot and she'll just smirk and nuzzle his neck a bit]
Isaac: [and he will groan and pull her a bit closer, nuzzling back]
Malia: [she smiles a bit, pressing a kiss to the nape of his neck]
Isaac: I hope that is my wife and not a naughty nurse...
Malia: [laughs] It is definitely your wife.
Isaac: Good. [opens his eyes and smiles]
Malia: [smiles back at him] Hi.
Isaac: Hi. You feeling better?
Malia: [she nods] I'm healing. I'll probably go back to sleep soon, but I'm good for right now.
Isaac: Well, I have the week off and your aunt has Cam. I'm not leaving you.
Malia: You should bring Cam over eventually. I miss him.
Isaac: I can get your father to bring him.
Malia: Good.
Isaac: But right now, I just want some us time.
Malia: Mmmm. Before we're back to having a crying infant and getting no sleep?
Isaac: While having a toddler run circles around us.
Malia: Why did we think this was a good idea again?
Isaac: Because of the joy they will bring into our lives.
Malia: Is that the same as the delirium that comes from lack of sleep?
Isaac: Perhaps it is.
Malia: Mmmm. I'll keep that in mind.
Isaac: We should get back to sleep before the little one wants food.
Malia: [she nods a bit, starting to close her eyes] Sounds good.
Isaac: [snuggles closer] Sleep well.
Malia: You too. [and it's not long after that that she's asleep again]
Isaac: [same with him]
Malia: [and she will sleep until the baby needs to be fed or her dad shows up. whichever comes first]
Peter: [he will show up with breakfast for both of them]
Malia: [nose twitches as she starts to stir] I smell bagels.
Peter: Your nose is right. And coffee for Isaac and juice for you.
Malia: Yummy. Thank you.
Isaac: Yes, thank you.
Peter: You both did a lot of hard work yesterday. It's the least I can do.
Malia: [nods as she reaches for the juice before pointing over to the crib in the room] She's over there if you want to meet her.
Peter: [and now that he has permission, totally going to pick up that grandbaby and fit her into his arms and hold her.] She's beautiful.
Malia: [nods] Her name's Cate.
Peter: It's a beautiful name.
Malia: [she nods] It seemed to suit her.
Isaac: [groans happily in his coffee] I still prefer Catie.
Peter: Cate is more regal. Proper.
Malia: I said you could call her Catie. And technically the full name is Catherine.
Isaac: I know. I was telling your Dad.
Peter: I'm sure she will decide which nickname she will prefer in her own time.
Malia: [nods as she leans into Isaac] She will.
Peter: [and he is going to go sit in a chair, looking down at Cate with adoration, running a finger along her cheek]
Malia: [smiles as she watches him and her daughter as she reaches out to try and grab Peter's finger]
Peter: Yes, hello. I'm your grandpa.
Cate: [that's a very nice finger, she's going to try and keep it and maybe gnaw on it a bit, we just don't know]
Peter: Oh, someone is hungry, I suspect.
Malia: I just fed her. She's just trying to figure out what that big thing is.
Peter: Yes, well she's a bit more active on it than Cam was.
Malia: Her eyes aren't focusing yet. Your finger is the closest thing she can see.
Peter: I'm aware, sweetheart. This isn't my first infant. [said lovingly]
Malia: I'm just saying.
Peter: [chuckles] I know. How are you feeling? [and he will just let Cate nom on him]
Malia: Good. Just tired and sore. The usual.
Peter: Well, your aunt is more than ready to start taking care of you while you both adjust to two little ones.
Malia: She is the best. Especially considering it's mostly going to involve chasing Cam around. Running is his new favorite thing.
Peter: That's fine. He and Lucy can run races around her.
Malia: How is Lucy doing?
Peter: Good. If she's not running, she's dancing.
Malia: Is Derek taking her to Madam Lorenza?
Peter: Every chance he can. Though I think she enjoys Landon's attention just as much when he is helping Liam babysit.
Malia: Well, Landon is a different kind of dancer so she probably has a lot of fun switching back and forth.
Peter: Variety is good at her age. She can decide what she wants to do and know a little of everything. Though I fear for that whole household when someone decides to put tap shoes on that girl
Malia: There will be no peace ever again.
Peter: Nope, none at all. [looks at Cate] Remember, my dear, no tap dancing.
Cate: [om nom nom finger]
Malia: We'll see. Maybe she'll take after her dad and like sports.
Peter: She has a long life ahead of her to make up those choices.
Malia: Yes she does.
Peter: [and he is going to just try and pull his finger away]
Cate: [UNHAPPY NOISES!!!!!!!]
Peter: [chuckles] I have a feeling I'm going to be leaving here without a finger.
Malia: [finishes her bagel before pushing up into a sitting position] Here. Gimme.
Peter: [gets up and goes over, trying to give Cate over gently. His finger is firmly being nommed on]
Malia: Okay, c'mere. [and she'll gently pry her daughter away from her father and cradles her gently until she quiets]
Peter: [and he will wipe his finger clean] I should probably leave and let you all bond. I could bring Cameron over later if you wish.
Malia: Yeah, that would be great. He should meet his little sister.
Peter: He still thinks you're bringing home a brother.
Malia: I guess we'll just have to disappoint him.
Isaac: Stiles said it took a while for Dina to get used to having a brother. If it gets bad, I'll talk to him.
Malia: He's a little younger than Dina was, I think he'll get over it.
Peter: I think he'll be just fine.
Malia: Me too.
Isaac: [leans over to look at his daughter] I think everything is going to be fine.
Malia: [glances up with a smile] Thanks again for breakfast, Dad.
Peter: You're welcome, sweetheart. [leans down to kiss her forehead] What do you guys want for lunch? I'll bring it with Cameron.
Malia: Sandwiches? [looks to Isaac]
Isaac: Meatball sub.
Peter: Alright, I can do that.
Malia: Perfect.
Peter: [and he will go]
Malia: [sighs as she leans back against the bed] We should try and get some rest before Cora brings the kids over later.
Isaac: Do you want me to put her back in the crib?
Malia: [she nods] Yeah, I think that'll be good for a bit.
Isaac: [and he will get up and gently take Cate, nuzzling his daughter as he walks her back to the crib]
Malia: [will shift back to settle in the bed and watch them as she does]
Isaac: [and he is the ever doting father, making sure she is bundled well and talking to her softly about how much he loves her as he kisses her forehead and puts her back in the crib]
Malia: [smiles softly, waiting for him to come back to her]
Isaac: [and he will come back, finishing his coffee and sitting next to Malia on the bed] Do you want anything else?
Malia: [shakes her head] Just you.
Isaac: [grins, leaning down to kiss her] You always have me.
Malia: [smiles into the kiss] I know. And I'm glad I do.
Isaac: [and he will snuggle into her as he keeps kissing her. sorry nurses]
Malia: [yep, she's good with that. lots of kisses and snuggling]
Isaac: [and eventually he will fall asleep with her in his arms]
Malia: [and she will curl up and fall asleep with him too]
