canon au } { post-5b, of meeting the bunker and meeting the brother
Olivia: [and she will just watch because that's adorable]
Hal: [and he's going to totally look at the sword and go to lift it. Because SWORD]
Olivia: [and then she'll be concerned] Be careful with that. It's heavier than it looks and really sharp.
Hal: Don't worry. My dad has a lot of weird things around the house like this. I'll be careful.
Olivia: Okay. [the Winchesters have a lot weirder stuff, but she'll trust him. For now.]
Hal: [and after swinging it around a few times, he will put it back] So what else does this place have?
Olivia: ... Everything? Massive library, a garage with all kinds of cars ... you name it.
Hal: Garage? [this is totally Christmas]
Olivia: [she laughs, I guess we're hitting the cars next.
Hal: [nods] Oh yeah.
Olivia: Alright. [and off they go to check out all the cars]
Hal: [and he is going to just go over and run his fingers along one of the old ones] This is like, a museum.
Olivia: Yeah, it kinda is. My cousin and my uncle have been working on 'em one at a time to make sure they can still run and stuff.
Hal: Any of them working at this point?
Olivia: [she shrugs] Mostly the more modern ones? The older ones are a little too obvious to drive around.
Hal: Well you want to take one of them out for a spin? [that's an evil grin.]
Olivia: [wrinkles her nose] No. My uncle will kill me.
Hal: Oh come on, just a little ride. We'll even go the speed limit. [slides closer, pulling her to him by her hips] I'll make it worth it....
Olivia: [she grins as she leans in closer, draping her arms around his neck] Oh really?
Hal: Totally. You kinda need a car to go and do some parking, after all.
Olivia: Mmmm. That's true. [and she'll lean in and kiss him a bit] But we could always just park right here.
Hal: Yeah, but then we could get caught by your family.
Olivia: [she shrugs] That's supposed to be part of the fun, right?
Hal: Your family is the one with guns, baby. If you're willing to risk me...
Olivia: Hmmm. Let me think about it. [and she's just going to lean in to kiss him some more and focus on that and ignore the footsteps of her brother coming in from the other room]
Hal: [mmmm, kissing Olivia. Yeah, totally enjoying that and not caring]
Michael: [and he will watch them for a moment, making a face, before slamming the nearest car door loudly]
Hal: [yup, wasn't expecting that. He will snap his head up, looking in the direction of the sound]
Michael: [will be doing a good job at making himself look big and tall before giving him a sarcastic wave] Hi there.
Olivia: [glances over and rolls her eyes] Don't be a tool.
Hal: Hey. You must be Michael. Liv's told me about you.
Michael: I'm sure she has. What're you guys doing out here?
Hal: Looking at the sweet cars. Thinking about taking a drive.
Michael: Not in these cars.
Hal: Oh come on, you can't tell me you don't want to just take one for a spin when Daddy isn't looking.
Michael: Sam doesn't care about these cars, Dean does.
Hal: [looks to Liv] That make it better or worse?
Olivia: Dean usually encourages us to get laid.
Michael: [makes a bigger face] Can't you just use your own car? Or, you know, your room?
Hal: But what fun is that?
Olivia: [rolls her eyes] Ignore him. He has delicate sensibilities.
Hal: Sorry, Man. I gotta listen to her or she'll kick my ass.
Michael: [sighs but still doesn't move, linefacing at them both]
Olivia: [huffs after a moment] Why don't you come with us and we go to the diner or something?
Hal: Yeah, I haven't had dinner yet. I'm down for that plan.
Michael: [glances between the two of them for a moment before swallowing hard] Sure. Fine.
Olivia: Great. [smiles at her brother] You drive.
Hal: I guess I'm in the back. [smiles at Liv] Want to join me?
Olivia: Love to.
Michael: [mutters as he walks away] Gag me.
Hal: [wraps his arm around Liv] You know, annoying brothers is my favorite game.
Olivia: I'm so glad you said that.
Hal: You have a plan?
Olivia: I usually just play it by ear.
Hal: I'll follow your lead.
Olivia: Good. [and off they go to the diner with a sulking Michael the entire time]
Molly: [and she will come in halfway through the service, tugging a child with her and a little backpack. She helps him sit down behind the hostess podium and get some toy trains out]
Olivia: [and she's munching on one of her fries before she points to Molly] Isn't that the girl you're seeing?
Michael: [glances back over his shoulder before nodding and giving her a wave]
Molly: [sees him and waves back, smiling as she tucks some hair behind an ear and then talks with a coworker]
Hal: She's cute.
Michael: Yeah. [and spins around and goes back to his food] She's really nice.
Hal: The kid looks pretty cute too. Not yours, I take it.
Michael: [shakes his head] No. We haven't even been in the universe that long.
Hal: [nods and leans back to relax and sip his soda]
Michael: So. What are you studying at Berkeley?
Hal: Sports Business Management.
Michael: So you want to own a team or something?
Hal: There's more to it than there. There's recruiting, organizing, owning, running, scouting...
Michael: Right. I don't really know much about sports.
Hal: That's fine. I figured you wouldn't.
Michael: Sounds like interesting work at least.
Hal: Should be.
Michael: Any particular sport you're looking into?
Hal: Lacrosse.
Michael: Like what Stiles plays?
Hal: Yup. We're on the same team, actually.
Michael: Oh yeah? Cool. You going to recruit him to help you?
Hal: Nah, he's not in that major. He's pretty caught up in all the stuff you guys do.
Michael: Oh. Yeah, that makes sense with a werewolf for a girlfriend.
Hal: Among others, least that's what I heard.
Michael: Yeah, there are a ton of them in Beacon Hills.
Hal: Yeah, I had the slayer style orientation.
Michael: [laughs] Nice.
Hal: Choked on some vampire dust. Not the best night.
Michael: At least you know the truth now.
Hal: Yeah. Makes it easier on your sister to not have to make up some story about how her day was.
Michael: I don't think she was making that much up.
Hal: She led me to believe that she was like, an Orkin man.
Michael: It's not inaccurate. Just ... weirder pests.
Hal: A little bit bigger than a possum.
Michael: [he shrugs] I've seen some pretty big possums.
Hal: I'm a city boy. Our biggest threat are raccoons.
Michael: Yeah, hang out in the Midwest and you'll run into all kinds of shit.
Hal: No thank you. I will leave all that to you guys and cheer from the sidelines.
Olivia: Sounds like a good plan to me.
Hal: I'll just take a couple of first aid courses. Just in case I need to patch people up.
Michael: We definitely could use that every now and then.
Hal: Oh, I'm sure.
Michael: Sam and Dean are pretty good at it, though.
Hal: [nods] So's my mom.
Michael: She a doctor?
Hal: She's a mother of three boys. Pretty sure she can take on a dcotor for practical experience.
Michael: [laughs] Good point.
Molly: [and she is going to come over with the coffee] Can I get anyone a refill?
Michael: [holds up his cup with a smile] Please.
Molly: [and she will, looking at the group with a smile] I won't bug you since you have company.
Michael: No, it's fine. This is my sister, Olivia.
Olivia: [waits, waits...] And this is my boyfriend Hal, who my brother is currently being a brat about.
Hal: [holds up his hand in greeting] Yo.
Molly: Olivia, nice to finally meet you. Hal. I hope you aren't going to get revenge on me for what he does today.
Olivia: No. I'm civilized, unlike this idiot.
Molly: [laughs] Well, I'm sure I can distract him on days he's being extremely bratty. [grins at Michael]
Olivia: I would appreciate that.
Michael: [rolls his eyes]
Molly: Sorry, girls gotta stick together.
Hal: Pretty sure if I made the same offer, I'd get shot.
Michael: [and there's just a ... long stare in Hal's direction until his sister kicks him under the table and he hisses] Ow!
Hal: [smirks a bit] Thought so.
Molly: [laughs and squeezes Michael's shoulder gently]
Michael: [rolls his eyes at Hal] Uh-huh.
Molly: [and she's being called away] I'll be back in a minute. Let me know if you want dessert.
Michael: Will do.
Molly: [and off she goes.]
Boy: [A few minutes later, a five year old walks over wearing a paper chef hat and carrying a slice of pie] Mommy said to bring this to you.
Michael: [glances over with a smile] Thanks, buddy.
Boy: Yer Welcome. [bright grin, and he is going to head back to his spot with his trains]
Olivia: Cute kid.
Michael: Yeah, he is.
Hal: What's his name?
Michael: I don't know. She hasn't told me yet.
Hal: So you're dating a girl with a kid and don't know his name? [eyebrow raised]
Michael: ... It hasn't really been that long.
Hal: So still kinda new? That's cool.
Michael: [he nods] We're easing into it.
Hal: Well, she seems nice.
Michael: She is.
Hal: Hot too. Not as hot as your sister, but still.
Michael: .... Gross, man.
Hal: Just saying. [squeezes Olivia's hand under the table]
Michael: [rolls his eyes before digging into his pie]
Molly: [and after a few minutes, they will realize that only Michael was getting pie]
Olivia: [wrinkles her nose] Rude.
Hal: What?
Olivia: I guess only my brother is getting dessert.
Hal: Aw, she's obviously playing favorites.
Olivia: It's cheating.
Hal: [leans over to kiss her cheek] I'll get you ice cream later. With extra whipped cream.
Michael: Gross.
Molly: [and she's walking over] Someone say extra whipped cream? [and it goes on Michael’s pie]
Olivia: I take it back. I can feel my civility fading by the second.
Molly: I can get you guys something too. I just don't know your order like I do his.
Olivia: [she laughs] Cheesecake?
Hal: Brownie Sundae.
Molly: Coming right up. [smiles at Michael and heads off]
Michael: [just looks smug as he eats his pie]
Molly: [and she will come back a few minutes with their desserts, including another slice of pie for Michael]
Michael: [glances up at her with a grin] Thank you.
Molly: No problem. Anything else? Drinks refilled?
Olivia: [shakes her head] I'm good.
Hal: Totally fine.
Molly: Good. [looks at Michael] The neighbor had to go to the hospital for heat exhaustion. I'd invite you over...
Michael: [he shakes his head] It's okay. Another time, maybe?
Molly: Yeah, totally. You will be around?
Michael: Not planning on going anywhere.
Molly: Good. [and she will squeeze his hand before heading back to work, checking on her son on the way]
Michael: [nods and will dig into his second piece of pie]
