Laura: [and they're off to the OBGYN, for Laura's regular appointment. They're waiting in the patient room and she turns to him with a sigh] Do you want to know?

Parrish: Want to know what?

Laura: If it's a boy or girl?

Parrish: Oh, oh yeah. Yeah it'd be good to know. Easier to buy stuff.

Laura: [she smirks a bit] If I were still an alpha, I would say definitely a girl, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Parrish: So there's a chance for Jordan Junior.

Laura: [wrinkles her nose] Jordan Junior?

Parrish: Totally call him JJ.

Laura: [and she shakes her head]

Parrish: You have a better idea?

Laura: [she shrugs] I'm just not a big fan of "juniors." I think they should have their own name.

Parrish: I just suck at names myself.

Laura: [she nods] Well, lucky for us, we don't have to commit until we know what the gender is.

Parrish: Technically, not until they are born.

Laura: That too.

Parrish: And even then, we can change it easily with a form...

Laura: So it's no big deal.

Parrish: None at all

Tech: [and with that the ultrasound tech will come in and they will get started. everything is healthy and they can hear the heartbeat, and ...] Do you want to know the sex?

Parrish: [looks at Laura and nods]

Tech: [Laura nods as well, and she'll move the wand around for a little bit and eventually smile] Looks like it's a girl.

Parrish: [bright grin] Really?

Tech: Yep. [And then she'll smile as she turns the screen for them to see, and Laura gently reaches for Parrish's hand]

Parrish: [and he will take it and squeeze because OMG BABY GIRL!]

Laura: [and they'll finish up the last bits of the appointment and Laura will get cleaned up and they'll head back to the car] So you're good with a girl.

Parrish: Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?

Laura: Just checking. You did say you wanted a chance for Jordan Junior.

Parrish: Just means we'll have to have another one later. [kisses her]

Laura: [kisses him back with a smirk] Guess we will.

Parrish: So I guess we can go and find her some pink cameo stuff since she's going to be living in the woods.

Laura: [she laughs] You could. Is pink good for camo?

Parrish: Not really but they make it anyway.

Laura: Well, I think we should go for safety over fashion forward.

Parrish: No one but her family will ever find her if she gets lost in the woods.

Laura: But she'll also be able to find her way home better than most kids.

Parrish: Yup.

Laura: All we need is a name.

Parrish: We'll get one.

Laura: [she nods as they hit the car and she slides into the passenger's seat]
