Jody: Shut it, fire dog.

Parrish: I didn't say anything!

Jody: It was on your face.

Parrish: But I... I didn't... [puppy whimper]

Jody: [pats his shoulder] Just go home and see the baby. [and she starts to walk away before she comes back around again] Don't you think there's something a little off with her?

Parrish: Beyond the fact she's started becoming very present at the office than she used to be?

Jody: See? Off.

Parrish: I think that may be more because of... other influences.

Jody: [glances over at him] What's that supposed to mean?

Parrish: Just... [nope] Nothing.

Jody: [pats him on the shoulder again] Go home. You had a long night. Tomorrow, we're going to have a talk about you yelling at spectral kidnappers from another plane.

Parrish: You can't deny that it worked.

Jody: Yeah. And that's what worries me.

Parrish: I'd be more worried about protecting the entire population of Beacon Hills High School. Which that wasn't my fault.

Jody: I am. Which is why I'm worried about what they're going to do now that they know we have something they're afraid of.

Parrish: And apparently someone who can pull people out of their world.

Jody: That too. [deep breath] Go home. We'll talk about this tomorrow.

Parrish: Yes ma'am.

Jody: [squeezes his shoulder and lets him go, going back to doing paperwork]

Parrish: [and he will go home]

Laura: [where his girlfriend is curled up on the couch and Amelia is asleep in her seat next to her]

Parrish: [and he will smile at the two of them and goes to change before leaning over the back of the couch to kiss Laura] I'm home

Laura: [hums as she stirs awake] Hey. Is it late?

Parrish: Yeah, sorry. Had a bit of last minute teenage antics to deal with.

Laura: Just another day in Beacon Hills. [and she will gently tug him over the back of the couch so they can do some snuggling]

Parrish: [laughs as he's pulled] Do you want me to put Amelia to bed before you trap me under you?

Laura: [glances over the edge of the couch at the baby seat] Nah, she's pretty out. She can sleep there for a little bit.

Parrish: Alright. [and he will go freely, snuggling up behind her]

Laura: [sighs softly as she curls up into his arms] Good day otherwise?

Parrish: Yeah. I mean, if you can ignore Jody and Claudia making dagger eyes at each other.

Laura: Still not getting along, huh?

Parrish: It's like Claudia is afraid that the Sheriff, of all people, is going to cheat on her.

Laura: Yeah, I agree that's a little crazy. The sheriff has always been pretty solid.

Parrish: And Jody's getting weird vibes from her on top of it. I need to have people just put in calls soon to get me away from the desk.

Laura: Well, you ever need me to save you, all you have to do is text.

Parrish: I may start doing that.

Laura: Good.

Parrish: Though after a while they may think I'm going for booty calls.

Laura: They are aware we have a baby, right? A baby that isn't even sleeping through the night on her own yet?

Parrish: Oh, they are well aware. My phone is stolen every few days for new pictures.

Laura: [she laughs] They could just ask for them.

Parrish: I think Jody enjoys annoying me with the stealing.

Laura: Well, better than making moon eyes at the Sheriff and incurring the wrath of his wife.

Parrish: Well the Sheriff isn't my type.

Laura: I was talking about Jody.

Parrish: [grins] I know.

Laura: [shakes her head as she laughs] Uh-huh.

Parrish: Though I do miss those late night moments between us. [runs his hand along her arm]

Laura: [hums softly as she leans back into him] Me too.

Parrish: [leans down to kiss her shoulder] Maybe we could schedule one night? Which sounds really weird saying.

Laura: [she laughs] Maybe I can get Derek to babysit.

Parrish: He'll need more practice with diaper changing.

Laura: [she nods] I'll text him and see if he wants some uncle duty.

Parrish: Good.

Laura: But right now, we should probably get some actual sleep. You had a long day.

Parrish: Can I convince you to come to bed?

Laura: I think I can be persuaded, once I get her in an actual bed.

Parrish: Then let’s do that so I don't fall asleep in odd positions.

Laura: [nods as she turns to kiss him] You go to bed. I'll see you in a few minutes.

Parrish: [kisses her back, and he will wiggle up and head to bed]

Laura: [and she will very carefully scoop Amelia up and get her to bed, Parrish can probably hear her talking uselessly at their sleeping daughter through the baby monitor]

Parrish: [he will be smiling at it, but he's going to end up drifting off to a light sleep as he waits]

Laura: [well, she won't be too long before she comes to join him, just curling up with him and going right to sleep]

Parrish: [mmm, warm girlfriend. he'll just snuggle up and off to bed he goes]

Laura: [yep, sleep times for all]
