Laura: [leaves the train station and immediately goes looking for her boyfriend, wanting to verify what Stiles said about Parrish being himself again. But before she can get there, the world warps and suddenly she's back home, in their empty apartment, and while it takes her a minute to pass the shock of it all, a second later she's going for her phone so ring ring ring Parrish phone]
Parrish: [who is sitting at his desk in uniform, all clean... he blinks as the phone rings, looking over at it and then reaching to pick it up] Sheriff's station.
Laura: Jordan? [it sounds like him but she wants to verify it's actually him]
Parrish: Laura? Oh thank God. Where are you?
Laura: Home. I got dropped back here when everything ended.
Parrish: Is Amelia with you?
Laura: No. I sent her out of town when things started to get bad. She's with Derek. [she's choosing not to acknowledge that her daughter is in Dean Winchester's hands right now]
Parrish: Oh, okay. Wait... Derek has both Amelia and Cora's baby now?
Laura: Well, we weren't expecting Cora to go into labor at the time.
Parrish: We should probably rescue him.
Laura: Probably a good idea. But right now I just want to see you.
Parrish: Let me check in with the Sheriff, and then I'll be on my way. Just stay there.
Laura: Okay. I'll see you soon.
Parrish: Love you. [and Sheriff is walking out of his office as Parrish goes to hang up. He talks with the man a moment, and Sheriff lets him go to go to Laura and then get up to their daughter. So Parrish is out like a bolt, heading to the apartment and sprinting upstairs]
Laura: [is waiting in the living room and basically flings herself at him when she sees him because she's glad he's okay and still himself and not on fire anymore]
Parrish: [and he will hold her close, taking in her scent and just needing that attachment]
Laura: [just buries her face in his shoulder for a bit] You okay?
Parrish: Yeah, I'm okay. I don't remember a lot.
Laura: [exhales slowly] That's probably for the best.
Parrish: Probably. [and he will lean in to kiss her hard]
Laura: [kisses him back eagerly, because aside from being constantly worried about him, she missed him more than anything else. their daughter is safe, he's here, they can take a little time to themselves before they go see her]
Parrish: [... sure, they can take some time to themselves. Derek having Amelia an extra hour won't hurt, right? Plus there is that edge of adrenaline they need to burn off]
Laura: [yep. so definitely pulling him back further into the bedroom and they're going to do adult things for a little bit]
Parrish: [yup, and hopefully they keep a supply there still because otherwise it would be a roll]
Laura: [yeah, I feel like she would have stocked up when they started to discuss making time for it again, so no new sibling for Amelia yet]
Parrish: [that's fine. And then they are off to Berkley]
Laura: [Yep, and since it's a four hour drive, she'll be texting her brother in advance saying that she and Jordan are on their way up and her daughter better be in her brother's hands by the time they get there. SHE KNOWS WHAT YOU DID, DEREK.]
Derek: [HE WAS PANICKING OKAY! But thanks to the advance warning he can leave Joy with Dawn and rush to get Amelia]
Dean: [who is hanging out with Dean, happy as a clam and now has her own Cowboys onesie. You're welcome]
Derek: .... Parrish is going to kill us both.
Dean: [smirks as he zips Amelia up in her jacket] Aww, c'mon. Just because his daughter is clearly a fan of the superior team is no reason to get angry. [And Amelia grins at him, clapping her hands together]
Derek: Uh huh.
Dean: [finishes bundling her up, before handing her off to her uncle] There you go. One niece, happy and in one piece. You're welcome.
Derek: Thank you. [he means that too] Say goodbye to Uncle Dean, Amelia. It may be the last time you see him alive.
Dean: [Amelia babbles at him a bit and Dean grins] Nah, I'll be fine. Winchesters don't die that easy.
Derek: That's true. [and he will kiss Amelia's cheek and thank Dean again, heading out to get her back to their place before Laura and Parrish arrive. And get her changed because he is not going there.]
Dean: [you are a wimp, Derek]
Amelia: [that's okay, Amelia will still have it when her dad gets there because she crawls now and definitely wants to keep that thing that Uncle Dean gave her because Uncle Dean is awesome. At least as far as her 4 month old brain is concerned]
Derek: [he is a survivor, Dean. Same as you.]
Parrish: [and they arrive!]
Laura: [smiles as she sees her brother because there's probably hugging there too] Thank you for staying out of town.
Derek: Someone had to be the responsible parent. [teasing as he hugs his sister tightly] Don’t do that again, ok?
Laura: Trust me, I'm not planning on it. [and will hug him just as tightly back]
Parrish: [and he will go and hug his daughter while the siblings hug, not looking at what she's carrying just yet] Hey sweetheart, you miss us?
Amelia: [OH HEY DAD SUP? she'll babble right back at him, shaking her beloved onesie out in her hand as she does]
Parrish: What is it you have here? [and he's going to kiss her cheek and then look at the onesie] Derek? Where did you get this?
Derek: [pulls back] I'm not going to lie. Your daughter was kidnapped by a Cowboys fan.
Laura: Kidnapped? That's what you're going with?
Derek: Yes, it is.
Parrish: [doesn't buy it anyway] We're going to have to disinfect our child and burn this.
Laura: ... It's a onesie.
Parrish: It's a COWBOYS onesie.
Laura: Is this a football thing that I'm just not getting?
Parrish: Yes.
Derek: Just let him burn it in the fireplace, Laura. It's better that way.
Laura: [shakes her head] I'm going to find Dawn and my niece. You boys do what you have to do.
Parrish: Come on, Amelia. Let Daddy show you how to build a fire.
Derek: And this is why we got a place with roof access. [and off they go to burn things]
Amelia: [I hope you're prepared for a crying baby when you take that away from her and can't give it back, Parrish, because that's totally what's going to happen]
Parrish: [of course he isn't. And he will try and soothe her after]
Amelia: [BUT THAT WAS MINE AND UNCLE DEAN GAVE IT TO ME AND WHY DID IT GO AWAAAAAAAAAAAY]
Parrish: It's okay, baby.
Derek: You go downstairs. I'll clean up the fire.
Parrish: [and he will carry her down, reaching in his pocket and pulling out her toy giraffe] You want Stretch, sweetie?
Amelia: [there's a dubious sort of look through her tears like "are you gonna burn that too?" but she reaches for it all the same]
Parrish: [no, he's not. He's going to give it to her and then stroke her hair] Stretch missed you.
Amelia: [and she will take it and pull it in and she is officially not trusting you with her things anymore until a few hours from now when she forgets it happened]
Parrish: [and he is going to go find Laura because he could really use a nap]
Laura: [currently holding Joy but turns when she hears him coming] Hey. [then sees the redness of her daughter's face] What happened?
Parrish: She doesn't like open fires. [totally the reason]
Laura: Uh-huh. [and is handing Joy back to Dawn] Come here, sweetie. Don't worry, in a few hours you'll forget all about whatever Daddy did.
Parrish: [looks over at Joy] How is she doing?
Dawn: Oh, she's aces. She was a little early but the doctor says she'll put on weight quick.
Parrish: She's beautiful.
Dawn: Yeah, she is.
Parrish: And tiny. But she'll grow like a weed, I'm sure.
Dawn: Yeah, I think so too. And hopefully she'll take after her mom when she gets older. [because werewolves are healthier children, generally speaking]
Parrish: Yeah, tiny but fierce. [because that was Cora]
Dawn: [she nods] Yep. Sounds about right.
Parrish: Well, I'm going to go get the car seat out of your truck while you guys talk.
Dawn: [nods] Sounds good. Are you sure you want to drive back tonight? That's four hours and you're looking a little peaked.
Parrish: [looks at Laura] Up to her. I just want to be back home with my family.
Laura: [glances between them before glancing down and checking her watch] It's late. Let's crash here for tonight and drive back tomorrow together.
Parrish: Alright. I guess we can take Cora's room?
Dawn: [nods] Yep. It's all made up and everything. We can roll the spare crib in there for Amelia.
Parrish: Thanks. [leans in to kiss Laura's cheek] I think I'm going to crash. Want me to try and put her to sleep?
Laura: [she shakes her head] I've got it. She's practically asleep as it is. [which is true. Amelia is basically dozing because emotions are hard and she had too many]
Parrish: Alright. I'll see you in the morning. [and he is literally going to walk upstairs, take off his uniform and boots, and promptly crash]
Derek: [wandering down, wiping his hands on his jeans]
Laura: [looks over with a smile] I think I'm gonna follow him. Can you follow me with the crib?
Derek: Yeah, I can do that. [which he does] How's Cora doing?
Laura: I didn't really see her long. But she texted me to let me know that she was okay and she was with Stiles.
Derek: And how is HE doing?
Laura: No idea.
Derek: She's been a mess since she got here about him. A lot of anger. I know she remembers him now, but anger like that doesn't just go away.
Laura: Probably not. But I don't think they're dealing with that right now.
Derek: True.
Laura: I think they'll be alright though. At least for now.
Derek: [nods, and changes topics] And how's Peter?
Laura: In one piece, last I checked.
Derek: Good.
Laura: Yep. We all made it out okay.
Derek: [and he will go to set up the crib, Parrish not even stirring]
Laura: [and she will set Amelia down, who is also mostly out at this point, before turning back to Derek with a smile] Thanks.
Derek: You're welcome. I'm just glad you're back.
Laura: Me too. [and with that she will let him go so she can pass out with her boyfriend]
