Patience: [walks up to the door of the Stilinski house, totally not what she was expecting, kind of terrified and a little out of sorts, but eventually she manages to knock on the door]

Jody: [from somewhere in the kitchen] Not it!

Sheriff: [groans from his chair] I just got home.

Jody: And I am cooking dinner - you're the one with the free hands at the moment.

Sheriff: [sighs and pulls himself up, and then heads to the door. He will answer it, seeing a girl he doesn't recognize] Hello, can I help you?

Patience: [she doesn't recognize him either. oh god her GPS took her to the wrong place] I'm looking for Jody Mills?

Sheriff: [smiles] Yeah, she's in the kitchen. Jody! [looking over his shoulder] Come on in...?

Jody: Patience. [she had started coming when she heard the voice and she's surprised but not unwelcoming] Is everything okay?

Patience: Not really. I ... I saw something really bad. [a beat] Also I may need a place to stay for a bit. Until my dad cools down. [or at least she's hoping]

Sheriff: [looks at Jody with a raised eyebrow, because they are fresh out of space... well, when all the kids are home]

Jody: Yeah, we'll figure it out. [and there's an "I'm sorry" look but Patience and her dad seemed really close, she hoped it wouldn't be too long so it might not interfere with the room situation] Look, why don't you go clean up, and we'll talk about it over dinner, okay? You've had a long drive.

Patience: Do you think I could shower?

Jody: Of course. Bathroom's upstairs on the left.

Patience: Thanks. [and she'll follow her lead]

Sheriff: I'll go get you a fresh set of towels too. Do you need anything else toiletry wise? [he will show her the way]

Patience: [shakes her head] No, I brought all my own stuff. Just can't pack the bathroom, you know?

Sheriff: Oh, I know. [he reaches into the linen closet and grabs her a set. There are like 6 sets of towels, all color coded at this point, so they know who has what set when they are home]

Patience: [and she takes them from him with a nod] Thanks. I shouldn't take too long.

Sheriff: Don’t worry about it. Take your time.

Patience: [nods and disappears into the bathroom]

Sheriff: [and he will head to the kitchen and lean on the fridge] You collected another one?

Jody: Not officially. [a beat] I ever tell you about Missouri Mosley?

Sheriff: I know you went out to help Sam and Dean with something about her...

Jody: Old, powerful psychic. She was killed by a wraith who was targeting psychics, but she warned us before she died that the wraith was going to be coming for her granddaughter. Patience is her granddaughter.

Sheriff: [nods] And she is a psychic like her grandmother before her.

Jody: Yep. And her dad is not all that thrilled with it. I think he was kind of hoping that she would ignore it and stay safe, but if she's here, I'm thinking that something happened that means she can't.

Sheriff: Maybe I could talk to him?

Jody: If she's open to it, you could try? But it's not like he was just completely blindsided by the supernatural. He grew up in it, and he doesn't want it for his daughter, but ... she's gotta find her own way. [which Noah would know is the only reason Jody hasn't gone charging across the country after Claire]

Sheriff: Tell me she's at least 18.

Jody: She is eighteen.

Sheriff: Where are we going to put her? We don't have any actual guest rooms.

Jody: That I don't know. Maybe Stiles' room for now, and if it turns into something more permanent, we figure out something else? Or she could just take Claire's bed, since she's rarely here.

Sheriff: [thinks for a bit] Stiles' room makes more sense. He won't be back anytime in the near future. However, I call not it on telling Stiles that.

Jody: I will call him and let him know. Let's just get through dinner first.

Sheriff: I'll add another place setting to the table and text Alex to see if she's coming home on time.

Jody: [nods and goes back to cooking]

Sheriff: [text to Alex] You going to make it home for dinner?

Alex: I need to stay late with a patient, sorry. I'll grab something on the way home, don't worry about me.

Sheriff: I can bring you something on my way in. I'll check when I'm getting ready to leave.

Alex: Sounds good, thanks.

Sheriff: [ looking over to Jody] Alex won't be home for dinner.

Jody: Okay. So just the three of us, then. [and she will place the food on the table]

Patience: [comes down a few minutes later] It smells really good.

Sheriff: Well, you're lucky you arrived on a night she's cooking. Otherwise it would be microwave meals.

Patience: Once my dad started making enough money he went on this health food kick and we've been getting those boxed meals that you get in the mail? Yeah, I miss Tostinos, like you wouldn't believe.

Sheriff: [laughs] Well, with the three of us here working all hours and odd shifts, it's rare we can schedule ourselves off at the same time.

Patience: [nods] I get that. Hopefully I won't be staying long. My dad was really mad, but ... I just need to give him some time to deal, you know?

Sheriff: And if you want, I can talk to him. Trust me, being a dad to a kid involved in the supernatural world can be hard when you feel helpless to protect them.

Patience: That's nice of you, but right now I think leaving him alone is the right thing? He just ... doesn't want me to turn into Grandma, and ... I don't know if I can just ignore this.

Jody: Like the vision you had?

Patience: I want to help people. I don't want them to get hurt.

Sheriff: Well, the offer is there if you need it.

Patience: Thanks, Mr. ... Mills? [you never actually introduced yourself so she's just assuming your Jody's husband and Mills is her married name, which are both true, but in different instances]

Sheriff: Stilinski. You can call me Noah though. or Sheriff.

Patience: Sheriff. Got it. [because that's more comfortable than addressing a man by his first name that she hasn't known her entire life]

Sheriff: So what kind of vision did you have, Patience.

Patience: [and she tries to explain it, because it comes in fragments and she's not really sure what things are coming in what order but someone's getting stabbed and she saw Jody holding a blond girl]

Sheriff: [well, that's... not good and he will look up at Jody because that screams of Claire]

Jody: [yeah, she definitely doesn't look happy about any of this] I'm gonna call the boys. Can you call Claire? [because she might get that it's serious if the sheriff is the one calling]

Sheriff: I can do that. [plus if Claire is working a case, she will answer the phone for him, but sometimes not for Jody]

Jody: [she nods and turns back to Patience] You eat. We'll be right back.

Patience: Okay.

Sheriff: [and he will head into the living room, pulling up Claire's number]

Claire: [and it rings a few times before Claire finally answers] Hey, Sheriff.

Sheriff: Hey Claire, I didn't get you at a bad time, did I?

Claire: No, all the monsters are dead. What's up?

Sheriff: We need you to come home, sweetie. Something's popped up, and we need you here.

Claire: Are Jody and Alex okay?

Sheriff: Yeah, we're okay. But we're rallying the troops anyway. Jody's on the phone with the boys.

Claire: Okay. I'm about a day out, so I'll be there as soon as I can.

Sheriff: Alright. Be safe. Love you. [because these are his daughters]

Claire: Love you too. [and she'll get ready to start driving]

Jody: [wanders back around to find him] Sam and Dean aren't answering their phones.

Sheriff: That's... not uncommon. They could be on a job. Try Michael?

Jody: [nods and goes to call Michael instead, and Michael explains the job they were on but gets Very Concerned when they're not picking up because that is alarming and Jody will ask him to keep her posted]

Sheriff: What did he say?

Jody: Apparently the boys were trying to get to another world?

Sheriff: And just when I think things can't get weirder...

Jody: [gives a small shrug] You can go back to dinner. I'm gonna call Stiles while I'm out here.

Sheriff: Alright.

Jody: [and lets him go before she calls Stiles]

Stiles: [and it's late in the evening and he's already in his sweats on the couch when the phone rings. He sees the name and reaches over] Hey there step mommy. What's shaking?

Jody: I've got some bad news. We're going to need to use your room.

Stiles: What are you doing to my room?

Jody: Letting someone sleep in it for a bit.

Stiles: How long is a bit?

Jody: Unclear at the moment.

Stiles: ...... What about my stuff?

Jody: Well, right now it's not going anywhere, but that depends on how long she winds up staying.

Stiles: And if she's staying when we come back to visit... where are we going to stay?

Jody: Well, you do know that your girlfriend also has a lot of family here.

Stiles: Yeah, I know, but it's... my room.

Jody: I know. Look, we don't know how long it's going to last, alright, you're not being kicked out for good. But I'm just letting you know that someone is going to be staying in there for a bit.

Stiles: Fine. But you might want Scott to come over and just, clean in there. Otherwise you may find things you don't want to see.

Jody: [and her eyes roll up a bit] You didn't clean before you left?

Stiles: Not that kind of cleaning. [he has sex supplies in easy reach, Jody] Just trust me.

Jody: Well, she's already here, so you may have to deal with it being me.

Stiles: You are not allowed to judge me then.

Jody: I promise I won't.

Stiles: Alright. Under the mattress, pillowcase, bedside table, desk drawer. Just shove everything into my sock drawer. And just shove the red lacrosse back in my closet as far into the back as you can. Don't open it.

Jody: Got it.

Stiles: And remember, no judgments. You brought this on yourself

Jody: I said I wouldn't judge. [please say it's just all condoms]

Stiles: Just making sure. [that and porn, lube, cleaning wipes, maybe a vibrating thingie that he could use on Cora, and just don't look in the bag because that's where Malia's old restraints are.]

Jody: [she wasn't going to look in the bag] Believe it or not I was your age once.

Stiles: I know, but unless you were a guy...

Jody: No, but I had sex with them.

Stiles: Well good for you. [ok this is getting more awkward now]

Jody: [yeah, now you know how she feels] I'll make sure it's safe. Anything else I should be worried about?

Stiles: You may want to give the murder board a wipe down if there's any visible residue up on it.

Jody: I'll do that.

Stiles: So who's there anyway?

Jody: Patience Moseley. She's the granddaughter of a friend of mine.

Stiles: Everything alright?

Jody: Not really. She's psychic and she had a bad vision. We're going to have her staying here until everything gets worked out.

Stiles: Oh. Alright. Well, if I can help, let me know?

Jody: Will do. Thanks, Stiles.

Stiles: No problem. Tell Dad I said hi.

Jody: Will do. Night, Stiles.

Stiles: [and he will hang up]

Jody: [and she will go clean his room and hopefully she gets everything]

Sheriff: [only Patience will be able to let them know]

Jody: [fair enough, though Cora also wants to know why the vibrating thing didn't come with them to Boston]

Stiles: [who says there is only one?]

Jody: [duly noted. but anyway, once the room is safe, and she double checks that the sheets are clean, she'll let Patience get some sleep. and eventually Claire comes home and Wayward Sisters happens!]

Sheriff: [and he will be covering Jody's shifts at the station while she's off being a hunter]

Jody: [and eventually she and the girls will roll back in, minus Kaia, plus Sam and Dean but still sans Olivia, and ... may be cleaning up the house and all the broken windows. Sorry, husband.]

Sheriff: [and he will just look at all of them and sigh] I'm not even asking.

Jody: Probably for the best. [moves over and kisses him on the cheek] I was going to order Chinese.

Sheriff: How many more people are we expecting? [because hi Sam. Dean]

Jody: [shakes her head] That's it.

Dean: We're probably not going to stay long. Just to have something quick to eat then hit the road.

Sheriff: Well, I'm just going to go change. Anyone upstairs in the shower?

Sam: [and he has been on the phone, trying to call Olivia] She's not picking up, Dean.

Dean: Jack isn't either. We'll find her, Sam.

Sam: I'm going to call Bela now. If she doesn't manage to kill me over the phone, come tell me when dinner gets here.

Dean: Okay.

Sam: [and he will go outside and sit on a porch chair and dial up his wife]

Bela: [is driving so she doesn't answer right away, so Sam gets her voicemail]

Sam: [sighs] Hey, Just wanted to reach out. Weird things went down but I'm okay. Call me back.

Bela: [and she will, once she gets back to the bunker and her son]

Sam: [but he will call Michael after he doesn't get Bela]

Michael: [picks up immediately] Dad?

Sam: Michael, thank god. Are you okay?

Michael: Yeah, I'm fine. What happened to you and Uncle Dean?

Sam: We ended up in a crappy b version of Jurassic Park.

Michael: ... Fun. But you all made it back okay?

Sam: Yeah, Dean and I are just fine.

Michael: What about Liv?

Sam: What do you mean, what about Liv? Liv wasn't with us.

Michael: We've been getting the same "the number you're trying to reach has been disconnected" for all three of you ever since you went off on that thing with Jack.

Sam: [and he feels the blood drain from his face] She wasn't with us. Maybe... maybe she went with Jack to get mom.

Michael: So best case scenario she's stuck in another world with Mary and Jack?

Sam: I don't know if that world is a best case scenario, but yeah.

Michael: Great. So how do we get there?

Sam: We can't. Not without Jack and Kaia.

Michael: So what, we just have to wait until they figure out a way back on their own?

Sam: We can keep looking and see if we can find another tear in the realities. The one to where Dean and I were closed, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one to where they went somewhere out there.

Michael: Is there any way to track those?

Sam: [thinks] Maybe. We're on our way back but see if you can pull up any satellite information about the area around this ship from the day we dropped out of contact. [and he will send Michael the GPS coordinates of the boat] And then see if you can match the phenomena anywhere else.
