falling skies } { of skitters and jail breaks

Hal: [It's been three years since the alien invasion began. The aliens have taken a major blow by having their sky grid destroyed, ensuring that the humans would continue to live. In retaliation, the aliens have started to corral the humans into camps, similar to internment camps, in the destroyed ruins of the midwest cities. When the aliens captured the 2nd Mass, Hal was separated from the rest of his family and shuffled off to a camp in Kansas. He had no idea where everyone else was.

Times were tough in the camps. Food and water were dropped off, and gangs tried to get control of the food, therefore control of the people. Hal refused to bow to them, and eventually he got a few other people to help him push the gangs back from the delivery spot so that the provisions could be distributed equally. It didn't go well with the gang leader, but Hal knew men like him. Pope came to mind. He just focused on helping who he could, however he could, and work with his little band of survivors to try and figure out a way to escape through the electric fences.

Hal issitting on the outside stairs leading up to his second floor "apartment" that he was squatting in. He's looking up at the moon, thinking about home and lost in thought.]

Liv: [he'll then be greeted to a lovely bit of commotion as a group of Skitters tosses in a new member of the camp. The blond girl stumbles into the open area, arms bound in front of her, and she immediately turns around and ... flips them the bird on both hands. So charming this one] Kiss my ass, you bug shaped bitches.

Hal: [he was up on his feet when the skitters got close, and smirked as he watched her reaction] You don't want them to do that. Pretty sure they have rabies.

Liv: [she shrugs] I've got a good immune system. I'd be fine.

Hal: [snorts, then reached into his inner jacket pocket. He pulled out an apple and held it up] Hungry?

Liv: Starving. [not really, but she has to play the part. She'll probably pass off half of it to someone else later. In the meantime, she'll hold up her hands, still bound] Think you can get these off too?

Hal: Yeah, let me go grab my tools. [he put the apple on the stairs since he didn't want to toss it with her hands bound like that, and then turned to go up the stairs.]

Liv: [she would have caught it, but whatever, she stoops to pick it up, taking the moment to look around and make notes of the landmarks, before whispering to herself:] Hey, Cas, let me dad know I'm okay. [she's just going to trust that the angel hears her, even if she doesn't know for sure]

Hal: [he jogs back down the stairs a minute later, a laptop bag slung over his shoulder.] Alright, let's see how long it takes me tonight to pick these. My best is thirteen seconds. [he'll pull the dentist pick and the bit of wire hanger to work on picking the lock]

Liv: [and she'll let him do that because she's supposed to be playing dumb]

Hal: [and he's counting in his head as he works, and it'll be 23 seconds before the cuffs snap open] There, you're free.

Liv: Thanks. [and she rubs her wrists a bit to get the circulation back] So how long have you been stuck here?

Hal: Eight months now. [he'll tuck the tools away and stand back up, wiping his hands on his jeans before holding a hand out. He's got his fingerless gloves on] I'm Hal.

Liv: Liv. Nice to meet you. [she shakes his hand with a smile] I'm out of Lawrence, Kansas. How about you?

Hal: Boston Mass.

Liv: Wow, you're a long way from home.

Hal: Yeah, I know. Sucks. No idea where any of my family is.

Liv: Yeah, I don't know where mine is either. I was traveling with my brother and my cousin before we got separated. [on purpose but not the point]

Hal: I have my dad and two younger brothers. And baby half-sister.

Liv: What's the name?

Hal: Lexi is the sister. Her mom's Anne, who I'm pretty sure my dad's going to marry. Ben and Matt are my brothers, and my dad's Tom.

Liv: [she files those away] My brother's Michael and my cousin is Ben too.

Hal: Is he also a know it all nerd?

Liv: Nah, that's Mike. Ben's just a smartass.

Hal: Ah. that's usually me. Part of the eldest brother package.

Liv: Ben's the oldest too. He's eight years older than Michael.

Hal: And your Michael is the middle child, and the know it all. Yeah, sounds pretty much like my family. So let me guess. [he looks her up and down, not in the sexy way, but in a teasing way] Gets away with murder, and wants to be a part of everything even if it's too dangerous.

Liv: Not afraid to kick their ass if they try to keep me out of it? Yeah, that sounds about right.

Hal: [laughs, but stops when a spotlight hits the ground near them] Shit. We need to get inside.

Liv: [eyebrows go up as she prepares to follow his lead] Spotlights are a problem?

Hal: Spotlights mean that the Espheni are looking for someone. You don't want to be the one found.

Liv: Got it. [and she makes a note of that to relay to her family later] Do people just crash wherever?

Hal: Pretty much. It's not the Waldorf but you might be lucky and find a space that hasn't been looted.

Liv: I'm good at making due.

Hal: If you want, you can crash with me for the night. Search for new digs when the sun's up.

Liv: Yeah? I appreciate that.

Hal: No problem. Come on up. [and he will hurry her up the stairs before the spotlight gets to their location, closing the door just in time behind them. It's a ransacked living room behind the door. There's a sleeping bag on the floor, the couch being used to keep supplies organized.] There's a bed in the bedroom if you want. Sadly, no electricity, but there is running water. Cold, but better than nothing.

Liv: Hey, I'll take it. And I don't mean to put you out.

Hal: Not putting me out at all. Mi casa es tu casa.

Liv: Well then, muchas gracias.

Hal: I think I may have a can of beans in the kitchen if you want something else.

Liv: Nah, I'm good with just the apple for now. I'm not a big eater.

Hal: Same here. Four years into this, I'm used to meager eating.

Liv: [she nods as well, and makes her way over to one of the windows, looking like she's taking in the view, but is really just making a note of the weak points that they can exploit]

Hal: [and he watches her a moment, but having spent time with both Karen and Maggie, he knows that look and walks over to the window beside her] I've got a map laying out the place including skitter lookout points if you're interested.

Liv: [she glances over and nods] Very, actually. I'll probably still do my own scouting, but it'd be a start.

Hal: Come on. [and she will find the kitchen table has been carved into with a knife, creating a map of the ciity within the electric walls]

Liv: [and she will lean in to take in all of this information, but not taking all of it at face value because Winchesters are operating on "trust no one" at this point and they know the aliens can have plants, but information is information] You mapped this all yourself?

Hal: Yeah. I've been here about eight months. I used to be a scout for our unit when we first banded together.

Liv: So why haven't you found your way out yet?

Hal: Because these electric walls go under the ground. Tunneling doesn't work. They cut right through buildings and sewer pipes so there's nothing to crawl through. And anyway, these people need help. If I left, it wouldn't be long before the gangs took over the supply drops and people would starve again.

Liv: [electric fences. Good to know] What about making a mass exodus? Finding a way to turn the fences off and get everyone out.

Hal: [rubs at his nose] The power source is on the other side. You'd have to get someone outside the fence to cut the power, but there's no way to signal someone to tell them to help.

Liv: Ah. [SHE DOES THOUGH good to know, she will be sure to pass that on] What about where people go when they get spotlighted?

Hal: They have these creatures. Look like huge wasps that come down and grab them. It takes them up to the ship. Never see them again.

Liv: So it could be anything. It could be food, it could be experimentation, no one knows.

Hal: Either way, it's not good and I don't want to get grabbed.

Liv: No, agreed. [but she was trying to see if they needed to work that into their escape plan]

Hal: So, what are you actually doing here.

Liv: [squints then glances back at him] I was ... kidnapped? By the alien assholes?

Hal: Mmhmm, and yet you aren't freaking out and instantly trying to scout the place.

Liv: You do realize that aliens have been running around for a while now, right?

Hal: Yup. Heading into year four.

Liv: I stopped being scared of them when we figured out how to kill them.

Hal: I know how to kill them, but I'm still scared of them. [looks over at her]

Liv: [she shrugs] Doesn't work that way for me, I guess. Once you know how they work, takes away the mystery.

Hal: I keep finding more and more layers as I peel them back.

Liv: Layers?

Hal: Yeah. Like the skitters. What do you see?

Liv: Skitters. [because that's all they are. Even if they were something else before, they aren't that thing anymore. It's like a ghost or a demon or a werewolf, they may have been human once, but they're not now]

Hal: You know there's a rebel fraction of them fighting within to try and defeat the overlords?

Liv: Really? [and if she sounds super skeptical ... it's because she is]

Hal: Yup. They actually have helped a lot. Helped us figure out how to get into those big power station towers and blow them up.

Liv: Well good for them. [she's still not going to start trusting them anytime soon]

Hal: One also saved my life. [still looking out the window, but his jaw is hard]

Liv: One good one doesn't a friendly race make. No offense but ... a large majority of them are still out there looking to kill us.

Hal: Because they are told to, just like the harnessed kids are.

Liv: So what you're saying every member of this army has no choice at all? The rebel faction you talked about says otherwise.

Hal: If they can break their harness. [looks over at her] We dissected one. The skitters are actually another race of creatures that were harnessed. The harness eventually turned them into looking like they do now. We've actually seen a few kids in stages further along where they are developing the green scales.

Liv: [and this time her jaw sets at the idea of kids being turned into something else, but she doesn't seem surprised by it either. Maybe its the years of hunting her family did, but there's only so much you can save, and she learned that pretty young] Maybe you're right and it's not their fault, but that doesn't change the fact that there's only so much we can do. At some point ... you gotta triage, man.

Hal: Oh, I know. And I'm not going to hesitate to kill a skitter that comes at me. Hell, I was sixteen and had my arm shoved down a skitter's mouth to stab it's brain out so I could rescue my brother.

Liv: [she snorts] Creative. But for future reference, you can hit the soft palette under the chin and avoid getting your arm bitten off.

Hal: [laughs] I was sixteen!

Liv: Yeah, and you clearly did not grow up in the Midwest.

Hal: The Boston accent was a dead giveaway, huh?

Liv: Well, any Midwest kid worth their salt has probably slaughtered a farm animal before the age of fifteen. [and for Liv it wasn't a farm animal so much as a monster or two, despite how much Sam may have wanted to keep her out of things] But the accent didn't hurt.

Hal: [and she'll get his big, Mason grin]

Liv: [shakes her head, because that grin is more endearing than it should be] Alright, I'm gonna go crash out but I sleep light so if anything goes wrong just shout.

Hal: Yes ma'am.

Liv: [and she will head to the bedroom and after a quick prayer to Cas to relay what she knows, she passes out to try and at least grab a few hours before she goes exploring]

Hal: [and he will stretch out on the couch, gun on the floor but within reach, and pass out easily]

Liv: [and it'll take a few days for her to get all the information she needs, scouting out the various locations and weak points, as well as tracking down the most vulnerable residents for the easiest exfil. It doesn't take long for the plan to start to come together, and while she isn't one hundred percent sure if she can trust Hal, the time they spend together makes her feel like she wants to. Which means she needs to do one thing before things go off the rails, and when Hal comes back to the room one time, she's standing there with a tall guy in a trench coat] Hey. This is Cas.

Hal: Hey. I take it you just got here?

Liv: [Cas says nothing, Liv does the talking] Something like that. Look, there's something I need to tell you but first I gotta be sure of something.

Cas: [and before he can protest, Cas is striding forward and placing his hands on the side of Hal's head] This will feel strange, but hold still. [and then his eyes begin to glow]

Hal: [whatever this guy is doing is, well kinda creepy and way to magical for him. Cas will feel the alien nanites inside of Hal that have bonded with his system after saving him from the implant, but they have no control over him]

Cas: [it takes him a moment to evaluate that, but when he doesn't sense any connection to the Eshfeni he pulls back] He's clean.

Liv: Good. We're busting out of here.

Hal: [and he is going to take a step back, holding a finger up at Liv] His eyes were glowing. How were his eyes glowing?

Liv: Cas is an angel. As in harps and halos and bearing the brunt of God's wrath angel. I'll explain more later, but right now we don't have time. We have to move. Do you want out of this shit hole or not?

Hal: Well yeah, but if we're breaking out, we need to get everyone.

Liv: Don't worry. We've got a plan. [and she's going to head over to his map and outline the whole thing. How her brother is going to cut the power, and her uncle is going to bust in where the kids are located with a retrofitted school bus to keep them safe, while her dad, mom and cousin, along with a group of recruited hunters are going to draw the fire from the front and have back up from the people inside which, speaking of -- she reaches over and pulls back the canvas on a pair of automatic rifles, fully loaded] If you're going to help, you're gonna need one of these.

Hal: [and he's going to just watch her a moment, then shake his head, grinning]

Liv: C'mon. We gotta round everybody up. [and she'll hand him one of the rifles and off they will go to bust up the camp! There will be a lot of gunfire, a lot of insanity, and a lot of just ... Winchesters being Winchesters]

Hal: [and you know, something about a blonde with a rifle being badass...]

Dean: [she is his type. And they'll wind up with the kids and the school bus and Dean will shout from the front seat:] Move it or lose it, Liv!

Liv: [taps Hal's shoulder and pulls him back] C'mon let's go.

Hal: Right behind you. [and he'll follow her, watching both their backs as they move across the yard]

Liv: [and they cover the distance easily, sliding onto the bus and once they're both save, Dean slams the doors closed and takes off barreling back to the road.] Everything good with Dad?

Dean: Far as I know. [once they're on the road, he'll reach for the radio and give the clear out signal] We'll find out in a minute.

Hal: [and he's going to be checking on the kids, making sure they are all there and buckled in because safety first!]

Liv: [especially with the way Dean drives, but eventually the all clear signal will come over the radio and Liv will finally relax, slumping back in the seat with a low exhale.]

Dean: [when she does, Dean leans back and pats her calf] Good job, short stack.

Liv: [makes a face at the nickname] You ever going to stop calling me that?

Dean: No, because, I still can't believe that your dad ever made something as tiny as you.

Liv: [she rolls her eyes before turning her attention back to the road]

Hal: [and he will be in the seat behind her, leaning forward] So that's your uncle?

Liv: Yep.

Hal: Huh.

Liv: What?

Hal: No, just that... I can see where you get your reckless streak from.

Dean: I think you mean badass streak and you're welcome.

Hal: I stand corrected.

Liv: [laughs] Yeah, I think that definitely comes from the Winchester side of the family.

Hal: So where are we headed?

Liv: My family has a bunker not far from here in Lawrence. We're going to need you guys to chill out there until the heat dies down, but hopefully once it does we can start looking for your family.

Hal: I'm pretty sure that wherever they are putting the people they are most afraid of, that's where my dad will be.

Liv: Then we'll see if we can find that. We've mostly just been working our way through one camp at a time and trying not to get ID'd.

Hal: Well, whatever I can do to help kick Espheni ass, count me in.

Dean: Oh, I'm sure there'll be plenty to do. But for right now, we're gonna kick back, have a few beers, and hope the close quarters don't drive everyone crazy. [and off they'll go to head back to the bunker]

Hal: [and he will try and get some shuteye while on the road.]

Liv: [and they'll arrive and get the kids settled with sleeping bags in one of the rooms and wait for some of the adults to come back, but Dean will hand them both beers before disappearing further into the bunker]

Hal: Damn, these are cold. I haven't had a cold drink in awhile.

Liv: [drops onto one of the couches as she flips the top of hers] Bunker's got it's own electrical system off the grid. It was designed to withstand the end of the world, so it was planning for a different apocalypse.

Hal: How many apocalypses did it plan for?

Liv: Just the one, but it's kind of an all-purpose prep plan.

Hal: Interesting. The only apocalypse I planned for was the videogame. And that was more mountain dew and pizza rolls prepping.

Liv: Yeah, well, the one they were prepping for involved angels and demons. Turns out the aliens beat them to it.

Hal: Angels and demons?

Liv: Remember how I said Cas was an angel?

Hal: Yeah, and you said you'd explain later.

Liv: Angels and demons are real. And so are a whole lot of other things most people would chalk up to bad horror movies. They were here long before the aliens were, and they'll probably be here long after we're gone.

Hal: You know, maybe five years ago I would have thought you were nuts. But aliens invading opens up a lot of doors in the mind.

Liv: Yeah, well ... I've been dealing with them my whole life. My dad and uncle have been deep into this since they were kids and so has my mom.

Hal: So are they angels too? [trying to grasp this]

Liv: No. They're human.

Hal: Okay, I think I need more than that.

Liv: They're hunters. We're all ... hunters.

Hal: And you hunt angels and demons?

Liv: Demons, yeah. And werewolves and rugarou and a number of other creatures. Honestly, we didn't even know angels were a thing until the aliens showed up and they got all offended that Eshfeni tried to kill us first.

Hal: [blinks, then leans forward] Come again?

Liv: Oh yeah, see, there was this whole prophecy thing that Lucifer would get out and release the horseman upon the earth ... real Revelations shit. And in the process the world would end, Michael and Lucifer would have a knock down drag out, and in their words, Michael would win and they would recreate paradise on Earth. But they assumed all the humans would probably be dead by then so paradise on Earth would mostly be for the angels.

Hal: I thought angels were on our side.

Liv: Angels are on the angels side, always. Cas is on our side.

Hal: [and he is going to just shake his head and sip on his beer] Alright. Angels bad unless they are Cas. My catholic genes are screaming.

Liv: Yeah, sorry. Angels are a bag of dicks.

Hal: So does that mean demons are good?

Liv: No. Demons are humans that sold their soul and then got tortured beyond recognition until they're not even human anymore. They possess people and use them to do terrible things. They're worse assholes because at least angels were snobs enough to leave us alone for the most part. Demons love fucking with humans.

Hal: So on the alien, angel, demon dick scale, demons rank higher than aliens, who are above angels, but are all dicks?

Liv: Yeah, that sounds about right. Though honestly, I'd say aliens and demons are tied, given how the Eshfeni like to convert kids.

Hal: I kinda miss the ignorance of all this. Think there's enough beer here to get me drunk so I can forget?

Liv: Oh, I think we can make that work. [and she'll get up to go grab some more beers]

Hal: Awesome. [that grin again]

Liv: [that is a dangerous grin but it's not going to stop her from drinking with him either]

Hal: [that's fine. It won't stop him from talking]

Liv: [and what is he talking about exactly?]

Hal: [probably playing the "oh yeah, well I did this" one-upping on reckless behaviors while fighting aliens]

Liv: [and she's probably playing it fairly cool because she's got some hunting stories she could tell, but as they talk and drink she's definitely inching closer]

Hal: [and he is fine with that, because he is a happy, grinning drunk who enjoys flirting]

Liv: [and she's about to lean in a little too close, when the door to the bunker slams and she jerks away]

Michael: Liv!

Hal: [well damnit, he was liking the way she was leaning]

Ben: Lucy we're home! [way too cheerful]

Liv: Heeeey guys. You're late. We drank all the beer. [little sister is definitely tipsy]

Bela: That's impossible. Your uncle always has extra beer.

Ben: I know where the stash is. [because it's his dad, so off he goes to find it]

Bela: Where is your uncle?

Liv: With the kids, making sure they're settled. Probably teaching them things their parents wish they wouldn't know.

Hal: Hopefully not teaching them to drive.

Bela: I wouldn't put it past him. [eyes him] And you are?

Liv: Mom, Hal, Hal, my mom.

Hal: [waves a hand in greeting] Hi.

Bela: Hello. You should have some food with all that beer.

Liv: Where's Dad?

Hal: [looks at Liv] I knew we forgot something.

Sam: [coming into the room behind Bela, hiding a yawn behind his hand] I'm here. [and he's going to just head over for his hug because he's Sam]

Liv: [and she will take it because it's been a while since she's got a hug from her dad] You okay?

Sam: Yeah, just spent long nights hitting the book. [sees Hal] Who's your friend?

Liv: That's Hal. He's from the camp.

Hal: She made me follow her home.

Liv: Like you actually wanted to stay.

Bela: [is currently fishing out supplies for sandwiches and Michael goes to help, eyeing Hal like the big brother he is]

Hal: You usurped my jailbreak. I had nothing left to stay for.

Liv: So it all worked out.

Hal: Oh, I think it went much better than planned.

Bela: Good. [pushes a sandwich towards both of them] Eat something.

Hal: [and he will lean forward to look at the sandwich] Thank you, ma'am.

Sam: Anyone want coffee? [is making a pot]

Michael: Doubt it. That might counteract all the beer they were drinking.

Sam: Right, sober them up a bit. [so the strange boy doesn't get any ideas]

Liv: [eating her sandwich because that's a good sandwich] Buzzkill.

Hal: [om nom nom sandwich]

Sam: I love you too. [watching them over the edge of the cup]

Liv: [don't be mean, Dad, it's not like she dates often]

Bela: Your room should still be intact.

Liv: Kay. [a beat] Oh my God I can take a shower.

Hal: God, I don't think I've had an actual hot shower in years.

Michael: You're more than welcome to it. We can get you some fresh clothes too.

Hal: [looks over at Liv] You sure this isn't heaven?

Liv: If it were Heaven, we'd still be able to order a pizza.

Hal: Oh man, I miss pizza.

Liv: Me too. Pizza would be so good right now.

Hal: Meat lovers with extra cheese.

Liv: Yes. That.

Bela: [shakes her head] Once you clean up, you can go to bed dreaming of your imaginary heart attack.

Hal: [looking over at Michael] I'll take you up on that shower and change of clothes.

Michael: [nods and waves a hand] Follow me.

Hal: [gets up, looking back at Liv] Find you in a bit?

Liv: [nods] I'll see you soon.

Hal: [and he will go to follow the not nearly as hot brother]

Michael: [and he will get him set up with a shower, and clothes, and then direct him to the general use cots with the rest of the people they rescued that are very far from the Winchester bedrooms aka Liv's bedroom]

Hal: [which he will go to, because he is exhausted and still a bit drunk. Though he had a great line he had wanted to use on Liv. He had almost been there too. Why had they come back so soon?]

Liv: [because family. but don't worry, she's just sober enough to find him before he passes out] Crapping out on me already?

Hal: Your brother was very obvious in sending me to sleep somewhere far from the living quarters.

Liv: Yeah, well, my brother isn't the boss of me.

Hal: Good to know. Because you know, I was thinking that since you slept in my bed back at the camp, maybe you'll let me sleep in yours here. [the grin, goofy with a hint of sly smugness]

Liv: [she laughs] You've been savin' that all night huh?

Hal: Yeah, pretty much.

Liv: [she glances back over her shoulder before leaning in closer] Well, maybe you gotta show me if sharing with you is gonna be worth my while.

Hal: I've been told I'm a great snuggler. [just a bit closer, Liv]

Liv: Snuggling’s all well and good but a dog could be a good snuggler.

Hal: So you're calling me a dog? [smirking]

Liv: [shakes her head as she steps a little bit closer] I'm saying you have to give me something a little more specific.

Hal: Something like this? [and he will lean up quickly and get close, his hand cupping the back of her head gently as he kisses her]

Liv: [hums softly as she leans in to the kiss, one hand moving to his shoulder to steady herself]

Hal: [if only the cot was bigger, he'd pull her down beside him. Instead he will sit up slowly and pull her into his lap]

Liv: [and she'll start to go with him at first, but before she can sit, she pulls back] Wait. We shouldn't do this here. [because she will defy the men in her family, but she doesn't want to rub it in their faces]

Hal: Alright. Where then?

Liv: [and she will curl her fingers in his shirt, before pulling him around the back way to her room]

Hal: [and yup they are now back on the course they started in the kitchen before they were rudely interrupted]

Liv: [yup, and she will pull him into her room, closing the door behind them. the room is very simple but also very lived in, probably because this has been her room for her whole life, more or less. but she won't give him much time to look at it, because she's eagerly pulling him in for another kiss]

Hal: [oh, he's good for that kiss. Once the door is closed he will be there with her, pushing her up against the door as he kissed her hard, needy]

Liv: [and there will be more happy humming, her hands bracing against his shoulders as she leans into the kiss, before she pushes back against him, moving towards the bed]

Hal: [and he will follow, pulling off his gloves and hoodie on the way]

Liv: [and soon all their clothes are falling into piles and she's pushing him back down onto the bed and crawling into his lap]

Hal: [and he's going to be kissing her all over, his hands exploring. He hasn't done anything like this for awhile - not since the two weeks he can't remember. Since he and Maggie broke up]

Liv: [it's been a while for Liv too, and it's never really been with anyone long lasting. Just quick flings as people pass through. She expects that this with Hal is probably going to be more of the same, as he has a family to get back to, but they might as well have fun while it lasts]

Hal: [Fun and connecting to another person. Remembering to live. that's what the moment is, and he wants to make sure he shares it, and that it's good for both of them]

Liv: [as they get comfortable on the bed, she pushes him backwards so that she can reach into the nightstand drawer behind them for what she has left of her stash of condoms. There aren't many left and they're probably going to expire soon, but it's better than nothing]

Hal: [his stash is somewhere in Charleston, so beggars can't be choosers. However, he is a horrible tease and while she's leaning over him, he's going to tease her nipple while his fingers slide into her]

Liv: [and she groans, her head dropping against his shoulder as her hips lift to meet the press of his fingers as they slide into her]

Hal: [he grins against her breast, his thumb finding her nub as he pulls his fingers in and out of her]

Liv: [she continues to move against him, her hips enjoying the sensations, before one hand slips down to wrap around him in return]

Hal: [and he will groan against her nipple, his fingers speeding up, wanting to keep playing this game]

Liv: [and she does her best to keep up, but eventually his fingers find a spot that turns her to jelly, and she tips her head up to kiss him again]

Hal: [and he will kiss her deeply, rolling them over so that he is on top, and then kissing his way down her body so that his tongue can replace the fingers]

Liv: [and she brings one hand up to cover her mouth a bit, because who knows how thin the walls are in the bunker and she doesn't want to get too loud]

Hal: [well, he is just showing her how much he appreciates her effort in helping keep him alive]

Liv: [well, she feels very, very appreciated, but she just doesn't want the rest of the bunker to know how appreciated she feels]

Hal: [well, once he is sure she knows just that, he will slide back up her and kiss her hard] Still got that condom?

Liv: [she passes it over to him, before shifting her legs up around his hips to pull him closer]

Hal: [and he is going to get it on, and then slide up closer and press himself into her slowly]

Liv: [moans softly against his shoulder, before tipping her head up to kiss him again as her hips rise to meet his]

Hal: [and he will kiss her hard as his hips speed up, needing her so badly]

Liv: [and she does the best she can to keep pace with him, meeting his hips on each thrust, until she starts to fall out of rhythm as she inches closer and closer to the edge]

Hal: [and he's a guy, so he's going to be quick to get there this first time, hence the foreplay.]

Liv: [that's okay, she's not far behind him, and also used to taking care of herself, so her hand slips between them to her clit, adding that little bit of friction to push her over the edge, and into a quivering mess beneath him]

Hal: [and he will be a sweaty, panting body above her, still hard and can go another round. His abs are glowing from the sweat]

Liv: [which is ... a great look honestly and she's good to go another round, just give her a minute to catch her breath. She kisses him softly, gently, taking it a little less slower and needier]

Hal: [he will kiss her back, deep and slow. Time to savor the moment]

Liv: [yep, they have plenty of time and as long as they stay fairly quiet, no one will bother them till morning]

Hal: [well, he has experience doing that and he will keep kissing her if she gets noisy]

Liv: [good plan, so they'll just keep going until they wear themselves out]

Hal: [and he will cuddle her from behind, totally a big spoon] Yeah, better than I imagined. You are amazing.

Liv: [she laughs as she stays close] You weren't so bad yourself.

Hal: [kisses her shoulder, his arm wrapping around her waist] So how hard is your brother going to punch me in the morning? [chuckles]

Liv: He won't punch. He'll just be very disappointed.

Hal: Well, I'm far from disappointed. [grins]

Liv: [she laughs] You better be.

Hal: [and he will nestle his head into the pillow] You wore me out. I think I need to pass out for awhile.

Liv: Yeah, me too. I could use a good night's sleep.

Hal: If you're still here when I wake up, I know this isn't just a damn good dream.

Liv: Well, I'm not going anywhere. This is my room, remember?

Hal: Of course.

Liv: [smirks as she leans in to kiss him again] Night.

Hal: [kisses her back] Night.

Liv: [and she drifts off to sleep not long after]

Hal: [and so will he, sleeping well and not thinking of his family for once]

Liv: [and in the morning there will probably be breakfast and starting to work on plans for the next prison break]

Hal: [and he'll be in on it, but his mind will be trying to figure out where his family could be, and how he could find them]

Liv: [which she will try and help with, seeing if they can steer their targets that way]

Hal: [and he will keep his ear open for people from the second Mass with each prison break, but no luck. It makes him start to wonder if he's the only one. But Matt, Ben, Maggie, Lordes and Lexi weren't in the cages. He kept listening for clues on if someone had seen them]

Liv: [tracks him down and leans into him a bit] Hey. We'll find them.

Hal: Yeah, I know. [but he doesn't know. And while it's nice being in the bunker and not having to worry about supplies, the Winchester's family vibe makes him really miss his]

Liv: There are only so many camps. Eventually we're bound to knock down one with a Mason in custody.

Hal: [nods, then changes topics] You hear about those new skitter camps. the whole Hitler youth remake?

Liv: Yeah, once or twice. We don't have anyone young enough to get in there, though.

Hal: I do. Matt and Lexi both. [he's told her about his family by now, and the strange intricacies]

Liv: Do you think they might be there?

Hal: I don't know. They didn't get trapped like me and Dad, but that doesn't mean they didn't get caught.

Liv: Well, we can scope it out, at least. See what we can find.

Hal: [nods, going back to cleaning the rifle a moment] I was actually wondering... can your angel hear all prayers?

Liv: Theoretically? We're usually praying to him specifically, but he's never really explained how angel radio works.

Hal: [looks up] Lourdes, one who escaped - she always looks for comfort in prayer. Maybe he could locate her?

Liv: [pauses, before glancing over as the trenchcoated angel appears, almost on command] Hey, Cas. How does angel radio work?

Cas: It's not a radio.

Liv: Yes, I know. How does it work? Can you ... use individual prayers to pinpoint specific people?

Cas: [is quiet for a long moment] Not me. But an angel above me could. Naomi.

Liv: [groans]

Hal: I take it Naomi is not someone you like?

Liv: Naomi is a stuck-up bitch who wants my dad and my uncle to be angel meat suits and battle to the death anyway.

Cas: She will want something in return for the information.

Hal: I got nothing. And I don't want that to happen to your dad or uncle. [he's been possessed. Not fun]

Cas: What is the name of the person you're looking for?

Hal: Lourdes. [there's a longer list, his father at the top. But Lourdes would be the most likely to be praying still]

Cas: I'll see what I can do. [and with that, he disappears]

Hal: [blinks, then looks at Liv] I don't want your family to pay something for me.

Liv: She might not want something from us. Or she might not want anything at all. She's kind of unpredictable.

Hal: [sucks on his tongue between his lips, then nods.] I guess I just wait.

Liv: Hey. [she reaches over to give his shoulder a squeeze] Whatever it takes, we'll find them. With or without Naomi's help.

Hal: Maybe I should have asked for him to find my dad. In case it's only a one shot deal.

Liv: You never know. Maybe they're in the same camp.

Hal: Watch my luck he got himself free and everyone is out trying to find me.

Liv: [she laughs] Hey, less work for us.

Hal: [chuckles] Let's hope then.

Liv: [she nods, before offering him a small smile] It'll work out. We've pulled off more with less.

Hal: Though when we find them, it means we're probably going to have to part ways.

Liv: [she nods, looking away and her eyes finding a spot on the wall nearby] Yeah, I know. You gotta go back to doing your thing.

Hal: [sighs, because he doesn't want to. Then looks up] Unless maybe our dads teamed up?

Liv: You think they would?

Hal: The more the merrier, right?

Liv: Winchesters don't always play well with others though. My dad and uncle can be kinda dicks sometimes.

Hal: My dad has his moments.

Liv: We'll see what happens.

Hal: Yeah.

Cas: [a few minutes later, he reappears] I know where she is.

Hal: [and he jumps up] Really?

Cas: [nods] In a camp in Indiana.

Hal: Indiana. How far are we from that? [looking at Liv]

Liv: Not far. Less than a day.

Hal: Alright. Um, we should... do you want to ...

Liv: I'll go talk to my dad, see how fast we can get someone in there.

Hal: Get someone in there?

Liv: If we're going to take the camp out, we need the logistics. Once we get there, we get a plant in to scope things out. Maybe it's not just Lourdes and other members of your family are in there too.

Hal: I can go in to do that.

Liv: We'll see. Right now we just need to get my dad and uncle on board.

Hal: OK.

Liv: [and they'll go talk to her family and make some plans and stake something out and opt to send in Bela because it's been a while and she's got an unlikely to be recognized face]

Ben: [and it's not dad, but he, maggie, lexi and Lourdes are here. In a world where Lexi isn't a goddess trying to help the Espheni. They are in a better camp since, you know Ben and Lexi are "theirs" but it's maybe just a few steps above what Hal was living in.]

Bela: [and she gets dumped in unceremoniously, as most do, but of course Bela gets the more upscale camp to hang out in. her look isn't all that different from whiskey cavalier, and she swears as she pushes herself to her feet, though not quite as vulgar as her daughter]

Maggie: [since it's a woman, she'll play the part of the welcoming party] You okay?

Bela: I've been worse. They always so welcoming with their new captives?

Maggie: No. We're actually getting treated better here than I've seen since they landed.

Bela: Better, yet still holding us captive and murdering the rest of the human race. Do they think we're that easily distracted?

Maggie: Be surprised what some people will do for a real cup of coffee these days.

Bela: Coffee is overrated.

Maggie: Only until you don't have any and you were a three cup a day girl.

Bela: I was more of a tea person myself.

Maggie: Not enough caffeine for me.

Bela: Then you're not drinking the right tea. [sighs as she looks around] Though I guess none of that matters now.

Maggie: Not really, though I know a guy who's getting good at making his own drinks. Slightly alcoholic, though.

Bela: Nothing wrong with that.

Maggie: Well, things you should know. [points out where most people live, where working bathrooms are, and where food is dropped just before dawn] If you need anything, I'm over at the school.

Bela: [she nods] I'm actually looking for someone. Her name is Lourdes?

Maggie: [there's a hint of suspicion in her eyes as they narrow] What do you want with Lourdes?

Bela: [holds up her hands because she comes in peace] Hal Mason sent me.

Maggie: [and her eyes widen at that] Hal Mason? You found Hal?

Bela: My daughter did. He's outside these walls with the rest of our team ready to dismantle this place once we know how. I just wanted her to know her prayers were working.

Maggie: Un-fucking believable. Well, come on, there's someone who's going to want to know everything going on so we can help. [nods her head towards the school]

Bela: [nods and turns to follow her lead sliding her hands into her pockets as she goes and takes everything in]

Maggie: [and as she approaches the school, she will hold out her fist in the air to indicate that everything was fine] We've got intel from outside.

Ben: [standing at the door, gun at his side] From Dad?

Bela: Not exactly. [she'll let Maggie do the introducing for now]

Maggie: Guys, this is Bela. Bela, Lourdes is over there with Lexi. She's eight. Then We've got Ben and behind him with the curls is Matt. [she looked at Bela] Ben, Matt, and Lexi are Masons.

Bela: My family and I liberated your brother from a camp like this one not too long ago. He's been looking for you.

Matt: You found Hal? [bright grin, then goes running to tell Lourdes who is out of earshot]

Ben: How is he? Is he okay?

Bela: He's good. He's waiting for me to feed them the information we need so we can get everyone out of here.

Ben: Well, what information do you need? Maggie and I have scouted most of the place already.

Bela: Strengths, weaknesses, patterns of the people involved. We have some buses to move children and people who can't move as well en masse but we need to be able to break in at the right point and the right time to easily load them.

Maggie: Well, you're standing in the best place. Let me show you. [and they will show Bela where the wall cuts right through the school hallway] We could get people into the gym like we're having a town hall, and then once the wall is down, funnel them out down the hallway to the parking lot.

Bela: What about the skitters? How often do they patrol? Are there any other defenses we should know about?

Ben: [and he will go over the layout they had made on a bulletin board, a map of the town similar to what Hal had done in his crash pad]

Bela: [and she takes in the information, filing it away to pass on to Castiel later] Seems like yours has more security. This might take time to organize, but I'll let him know we're in the right place.

Ben: And how will you do that?

Bela: [she's quiet for a moment, almost like she's ignoring him, before Castiel appears out of nowhere behind her] Hello, Cas.

Castiel: [glances at each of them as he nods] Hello.

Ben: [and he is going to jump a foot back. Literally. Harness powers] How the hell?!

Bela: Castiel here can pop in and out without being noticed. He'll take the information to my family and my family will come get us. [glances to Cas] Check all of them, will you? We want to make sure we don't have any spies around.

Ben: What do you mean by checking us? [because not everyone understands the spikes]

Castiel: Looking for bugs. It won't interfere with your spikes.

Ben: You can do that?

Castiel: Yes.

Lexi: [walking over, the epitome of serenity] No one has bugs, mister Angel. I got rid of them.

Castiel: [head tips to the side as he studies her] You did.

Lexi: They make people do bad things. They were bad bugs.

Castiel: [looks at her, then looks at Bela. Bela shrugs. Castiel sighs] I'll take the rest of the group the information. [and with that he disappears]

Lexi: [looks over at Ben] Can we have mac and cheese for dinner?

Ben: [smiles] Sure. I think we have two or three boxes left. Ask Maggie to help.

Lexi: [smiles and goes off running]

Bela: Cute kid.

Ben: Yeah. [rubs the back of his head] She's special.

Bela: So how long have you all been here?

Ben: Four months. The rest of my family got caught eight months ago. We were on our own, but we had to take more risks to find food, and eventually got nabbed. They tried to take Matt to that camp they've got going, but Lexi convinced them to let him stay with us.

Bela: Lexi did.

Ben: Yeah. [rubs the back of his neck] She was born in fishhead captivity. She understands their language and can talk to them.

Bela: Ah. [that's ... nervous-making] Interesting.

Ben: It keeps them off our backs, and she's probably why we're in this camp and one closer to where we were taken.

Bela: I'm sure.

Ben: You want to join us for an exciting dinner? I bet I can find a hotdog to chop up into it.

Bela: Sure. Sounds good

Ben: [and she can come join the 2nd Mass for dinner that Lourdes will bless]

Bela: [and she will just observe mostly, as she's trying to figure out what her daughter is getting into]

Hal: [speaking of, he's still waiting for information from the inside]

Castiel: [appears in the middle of your camp] Bela has located two of your brothers and your sister.

Hal: [and he's up on his feet] They're safe?

Castiel: So your sister has informed me. [does he sound put off by that? maybe.]

Hal: Lexi?

Castiel: Yes.

Hal: Lexi's like, a toddler.

Castiel: She's much larger than a toddler.

Hal: [eyes widen a bit] She must still be aging too fast.

Castiel: She was very strange.

Hal: She has her moments.

Castiel: Bela said she will let us know when she's ready.

Hal: So we're still waiting.

Liv: [reaches for his hand] Being on the outside is always a waiting game. But my mom won't make us wait long.

Hal: I know. It's just that we're so close.

Liv: We are. And we're not getting any further away either.

Hal: I know. Just anxious, that's all.

Liv: Anything I can do to help?

Hal: I'd say distract me but we're not alone.

Liv: [glances over to Cas, and there's a heavy, heavy sigh before he disappears from view]

Hal: [and he chuckles at that]

Liv: There. Now we're alone. At least for a little while.

Hal: Good. [and he will lean down to kiss her]

Liv: [and she kisses him back, one hand coming up to rest against the side of his neck]

Hal: [and when they break away, he will sigh] I should probably tell you about Maggie.

Liv: Right now?

Hal: I just don't want you to be surprised later on if this rescue mission happens quickly.

Liv: Okay. Who's Maggie?

Hal: She's was my girlfriend. We were in the middle of a fight, well, not really a fight but we just weren't really together at that point when we got captured.

Liv: ... So she's your ex-girlfriend?

Hal: Yeah. But I don't know what she's been thinking the last few months. I mean, maybe she moved on like I have, or maybe not. So I just don't want you to think otherwise if you see her kiss me or something.

Liv: Do you want her to kiss you?

Hal: Not anymore.

Liv: Then we're good.

Hal: Good. [smirks]

Liv: Can we go back to doing more fun things now?

Hal: Yes ma'am [and back to kissing]

Liv: [good boy. much better use of their time]
