Laura and Cora both glance up from the table, and Laura smiles in return, relieved to see him back again. "I was just about to put it away. What's left is over on the stove."

Cora glances back to her sister with an impatient look, and then back to Peter. Laura sighs and shakes her head, before waving her hand. "Go do your homework." She shakes her head as Cora scampers off, before glancing back to him with a nod.
