At that, Peter gets hit by a tiny werewolf missile, as Cora rounds the corner out of nowhere and throws her arms his waist. She's gentle as she squeezes, because she knows he's still healing, but there's a squeeze there all the same.
"Thank you."
Laura just blinks at her as she appears, more confusion than anything else. "I thought I told you to do your homework."
Cora turns and looks at her sister innocently, possibly shifting so that she's using her uncle as a shield in the process. "I was." Laura squints at her for a moment, before turning and seeing her notebook and textbook spread out on the stairs. She sighs before turning back and shaking her head.
"Later, you and I are going to have a conversation about eavesdropping."
