spamalot } of bathtimes and trouble magnets

Peter: [gets up and walks to her, wrapping his arms around her] You are beautiful, and don't think anything different.

Nadia: [sighs as she leans back into him] You're biased.

Peter: Perhaps, but I'm also not one to lie to coddle anyone. [kisses her neck] You're also glowing.

Nadia: [closes her eyes as she tips her head to the side] I'm exhausted, my everything hurts and I think I grew a liver today. Somehow that translates into glowing?

Peter: Two livers would be really cleaning up the blood. [grins]

Nadia: [opens her eyes to look at him before shaking her head] I doubt your opinion.

Peter: Well then, just take my adoration and love and I'll draw you a bath if you want to continue to pursue the life of a whale.

Nadia: Mmm. A bath sounds nice. Will you come?

Peter: Of course. It is big enough for all three of us. [smiles]

Nadia: [rolls her eyes a bit] Go.

Peter: In a minute [he moves around her a bit to cup her cheek and kiss her deeply as his other hand goes to her hip, keeping her close]

Nadia: [closes her eyes and sighs softly into the kiss, relaxing against him]

Peter: [yup, nice long kiss, and then taking her hand and guiding her to come with him upstairs where he will make a hot bath for them, and then massage her feet and if she wants, make love to her once they are dry]

Nadia: [yes. very good. good mate. good, very attractive mate]

Peter: [he is a very good, attentive, attractive mate who really is like a fine wine and just gets better with age]

Nadia: [Mmmmhmmm and he's her fine wine, so no one else gets him]

Peter: [afterwards, kissing the back of her neck as they spoon, his arms wrapped around her and the baby both] I'm so glad that I found you. I don't know what I'd be like without you in my life.

Nadia: [hums softly, her fingers brushing over his] I'm sure you would have been fine.

Peter: Maybe. But I wouldn't have been this happy.

Nadia: I suppose not.

Peter: where do you think you’d be?

Nadia: [shrugs a bit] Probably still doing what I was doing. I wouldn't have had a reason to change.

Peter: I don't think you've changed a lot with me. I liked you just the way you are.

Nadia: I've changed. It's just not as easy for you to see it when you've been with me the whole time.

Peter: Perhaps. Maybe also because I've changed along with you.

Nadia: [hums softly] Probably that too.

Peter: Still surprised you put up with me back then.

Nadia: Well worth the effort in my opinion.

Peter: I'm glad you think so. [nuzzles her neck]

Nadia: [sighs as she closes her eyes] I do.

Peter: [kisses along her shoulder]

Nadia: [sighs as she turns to face him] I don't regret it. In case you were wondering.

Peter: Even in the moments where you feel like a whale?

Nadia: [she makes a face] It's only a few more months, right?

Peter: Right, and then there will be a little spark in the world that is a perfect combination of you and me.

Nadia: [nods, nestling her head against his shoulder] Yes there will.

Peter: You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. [runs his fingers through her hair and then leans forward to kiss her]

Nadia: [sighs softly into the kiss] Same here.

Peter: So it's probably in bad taste that I should be grateful that my nephew is a trouble magnet.

Nadia: [she laughs] As long as you don't wish it on him, I think you're fine.

Peter: I don't need to. He gets enough of it on his own.

Nadia: That he does.

Peter: But good things do come out of it. You and I…your brother and Marissa...

Nadia: [she nods] Lots of good things.

Peter: I guess we'll keep him around longer.

Nadia: Hopefully we can do without the trouble, though.

Peter: We can hope.

Nadia: And Stiles doesn't bring any more of his particular brand either.

Peter: Now that we can't control. Cora's on her own there.

Nadia: You think she can?

Peter: With stiles? Yes. And she has Scott to help.

Nadia: [nods] They'll be okay.

Peter: [snuggles closer, yawning] But let's worry about the kids later. I think it's time for bed.

Nadia: [nods as well, closing her eyes] Goodnight, Peter.

Peter: Night, my love.

Nadia: [and with that she's off to sleep]

Peter: [and he's going to watch her sleep until he drifts off as well]
