Cora: [and after her full investigation of Mystic Falls and some quality brother time she returns to wherever Stiles is going to school/where they're living with pizza and information] Anyone home?

Stiles: [is totally in the shower and doesn't hear her]

Cora: [she hears that, so she'll just set up the pizza and grab some drinks and lay out all her research for him to go through while she waits]

Stiles: [aw, you could have joined him. But he'll come out, towel around his waist as he hears movement down the hall] Cora?

Cora: [knowing her easily spooked boyfriend, that was a recipe for a shower accident] Hi!

Stiles: [and he will walk into the kitchen, smiling] Oh, you came bearing presents.

Cora: I did. Hope you're in the mood for pizza.

Stiles: When am I not in the mood for pizza. Let me just go get dressed.

Cora: Kay. I'll be here. [and she'll eat her own slice]

Stiles: [and he changes as fast as he can and returns, going up to her and hugging her from behind] Hi.

Cora: [smiles and tips her head up to face him] Hey. I missed you.

Stiles: Missed you too. [and she'll get a kiss now]

Cora: [mmmm good kiss] Did you have fun while I was gone?

Stiles: Not a single second.

Cora: Good. [teasing]

Stiles: [and he will sit next to her and reach for a slice] How was your sibling bonding trip?

Cora: It was good. I have a lot of nosy information for you about Mystic Falls.

Stiles: Oh, do tell!

Cora: Well, the sheriff's office is severely understaffed. It seems like it's mostly just the sheriff and he's the only one who really knows about the supernatural. He has a relationship with the school that Derek works at.

Stiles: So they could use a deputy with supernatural knowledge. Ok.

Cora: It's a lot like Beacon Hills. [she'll pass over the phone so that he can flip through the pictures] Cute small town in the middle of nowhere where supernatural creatures like to live.

Stiles: [holds pizza with one hand, flips through the pics with the other] Is the supernatural element as bad there as it is back home?

Cora: [she shakes her head, then she shrugs] I mean, there's a school full of supernatural students within city limits so mishaps happen, but it looks they had the last of their big drama a couple years ago.

Stiles: So probably just teenagers using powers for pranks. That's a piece of cake compared to our lives.

Cora: Indeed. [little do they know, some bigger monster shenanigans will go down eventually, but that's seven years from now]

Stiles: Well, it looks good to me. And I mean, it's not like we have to stay there permanently.

Cora: True. And as I said before, DC isn't that far away. If we get too bored in a small town, we could always move to the city and still be close.

Stiles: True. [and he will grab a garlic cup to dip his crust in] Do you want to keep looking?

Cora: [she shrugs] I'd be nice to get actual time with Derek in a town that isn't trying to kill us. And you could be really useful to the sheriff.

Stiles: And I talked to my dad and he says that things are fine out there, and Parrish is doing a lot of good at his side.

Cora: Good. Then Sheriff Donovan could use the help.

Stiles: I'll put in an application then. Think Derek would be a good reference? [smiles]

Cora: [she laughs] I don't know, he's still kind of new. Maybe he can get his lady school administrator friend to vouch for you.

Stiles: Maybe. I'll email him, see what he says.

Cora: How fast do you think he'll respond to the email?

Stiles: Maybe a day or two? I mean, he's been better at it.

Cora: I guess. You might be better off calling him.

Stiles: I'll do that when we get closer to then.

Cora: Good. [she takes another slice of pizza] Did I miss anything interesting?

Stiles: No, just the world going to hell. Typical week.

Cora: Fun. Sorry I missed it. [only not, that's very sarcastic]

Stiles: Don't be sorry. Just be sorry you missed snuggling me in bed. It has been cold.

Cora: Well, I'm here now. You can get all the snuggling you want.

Stiles: Good. [grins]

Cora: [smirks] In fact, if you don't have anywhere to be this weekend, I could try and make it up to you.

Stiles: I just have to study for my classes next week but otherwise I'm all yours.

Cora: Good. I'll quiz you.

Stiles: I like it when you quiz me. [and he'll jerk to catch a piece of meat before it falls off his slice]

Cora: You usually do very well.

Stiles: And I remember it more in the classroom.

Cora: Oh really?

Stiles: Yeah. Because I remember you smiling with the right answers.

Cora: [she laughs] Behavioral conditioning at it's finest.

Stiles: For my finals, I may need a bit more to help. [grins wickedly]

Cora: Well, I do want you to succeed. What did you have in mind?

Stiles: You ever see the movie Billy Madison?

Cora: Nope.

Stiles: So, while helping Billy study, his girlfriend would reward correct answers by stripping.

Cora: I see. And that totally wasn't distracting at all, I bet.

Stiles: Nope.

Cora: Well, I guess we could see if it's effective. Just to give it a shot. [holds up a finger] But, for every question you get wrong I suppose it's only fair I put something back on.

Stiles: Yeah, that's what she did in the movie too. It's fair.

Cora: Sounds like a plan.

Stiles: So beyond Derek, what else did you do?

Cora: ... Phrasing. But basically, I poked around. Did a little digging at the school. Made sure it was really what Derek thought it was.

Stiles: I'm not going to tell Derek that he's a what instead of a who. But what did you find?

Cora: Seems on the level, aside from the woman who recruited him being a vampire.

Stiles: Wait, vampire?

Cora: Yep. The peppiest vampire I've ever met, but a vampire all the same.

Stiles: And you're sure that Derek isn't her thrall?

Cora: Werewolves can't be compelled. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have a crush on her.

Stiles: ....... And you're sure she isn't evil?

Cora: As I said, she's the peppiest vampire I've ever met. And she's starting a school to help kids not be killers, so I have to hope that she isn't one herself.

Stiles: Well, with your brother's track record, she just may.

Cora: [she shrugs. It's not one she's said, but it's also ... part of the reason she wants to be close. Just in case]

Stiles: So I can probably take the night off from studying since you just got home.

Cora: That sounds like a great idea.

Stiles: So what shall we do?

Cora: [hums curiously before leaning in to kiss him]

Stiles: [mmmm, she tastes like Cora and pizza. his favorite things]

Cora: [mmm indeed, and as she continues to kiss him, she'll lean in closer, winding her arms around his neck]

Stiles: [oh hi, yes, why don't you come closer into his lap?]

Cora: [that's a fantastic suggestion, she's going to do just that. because she really did miss him and his lap is a good place to be]

Stiles: [mmmm, and the rest of the pizza is going to go cold]

Cora: [cold pizza is better anyway. and she really did miss him]

Stiles: [oh, he missed her too. and he will show her how much for the rest of the night]

Cora: [yes. good, that was the plan. And when they're done, she'll relax with a smile] I really missed you.

Stiles: I missed you too. [and he will just gently stroke her arm while talking]

Cora: It'll really be nice when I can see both of you at the same time.

Stiles: [smirks] Well, Cora, I do like your brother, but I don't want to share a bed with him.

Cora: [rolls her eyes] Not like that.

Stiles: [laughs]

Cora: Just ... I can spend a day with him and still come home to you. Not have to drive all day to get back.

Stiles: I think that'll be great for both of you.

Cora: Yeah. [a beat] And maybe give you guys a chance to get along better.

Stiles: Well, we did have a bit of a rocky start. You know, me trying to get him arrested for murder and all.

Cora: I know. But ... my family is pretty much you and him. So I'd appreciate if you tried.

Stiles: I'll always try. Eventually I'll wear him down.

Cora: Good.

Stiles: And who knows, maybe teacher Derek will understand me better after working with kids everyday.

Cora: He's already learned the ins and outs of Instagram. Stranger things have occurred.

Stiles: I think we both deserve some good times for once. This sounds like an opportunity to have it.

Cora: Good. [she smiles as she shifts to curl into him more] Now you just have to graduate.

Stiles: That I can do.

Cora: Good. I'll look at apartments while you do.

Stiles: Just make sure I can have a Batcave. [grins]

Cora: [she laughs] I can probably make that work.

Stiles: Good. Because I need someplace to do my work. [leans in to kiss her]

Cora: [hums softly as she kisses him back. she's definitely got the money, so they'll find a place with a space] Got it.

Stiles: [yawns and pulls her close to snuggle with her] Come on, let's get some sleep so I can wake up to you in the morning.

Cora: [smiles as she closes her eyes] Sounds good. [and off they go to sleep]
