"Too late now. I've already got the slideshow cued up."

"Slideshow?" Stiles' face paled.

Scott just grinned and motioned to the bartender. "He's going to need another round," he pointed at Stiles, and winked at his brother as he pushed away to head towards the DJ.

Cora just laughs as she leans back in her seat reaching over to give Stiles' hand a squeeze. "Maybe it won't be so bad."

The slideshow started with a picture of Scott dumping a bucket of sand over Stiles' head in preschool. Thankfully another flute of champagne arrived at the table at the same time and Stiles went to down it.

"Not so bad, huh?"

She laughs a bit, before leaning back with a smile. "Relax. It's not like anyone here doesn't know you."

"No, but my daughter is at an age where she will remember these things."

"Worried she'll use it against you later?"

[fadingspark]

"Of course I am. She's my daughter!"

She laughs. "She'll forget all about it soon enough. I'm sure of it."

"Let's hope so."

[impetere]

She smirks a bit, before leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek. "By the time we get home, she'll have moved on to other things."

The kiss helps, making him smile. "Yeah, like what she's going to do with her cousins while we're on our honeymoon."

She laughs, before reaching up to smudge away the lipstick left behind. "I'm sure she'll have a blast."

"Maybe we'll get lucky and she won't want to come home right away, and we can extend our honeymoon a few extra days."

She laughs. "Let's not get your hopes up there. We're going to be gone a long time. I'm sure she'll miss you."

He looked out where Dina is with her cousins. "I know. And I'm going to miss her too. It'll be the first time I'm away from her for more than a night."

She shifts over to rest her chin against his shoulder, watching Dina along with him. "I know I said no phones, but I wouldn't mind if you were calling her."

"I don't think we have reception where we are going anyway."

[impetere]

She nods a bit, before turning to face him more. "We could always use the landline."

[fadingspark]

"Yeah, we could." He will smile at her, but Stiles is always going to be a worried daddy when it comes to Dina. "Otherwise you'll just have to distract me."

She smiles a bit in return. "I think I'll be able to manage that."
