She grins herself, leaning in to kiss him as the song comes to an end. She doesn't pull away right away, mostly because she doesn't have to, but also because she doesn't want to, just waiting for the next part of the opening ceremonies.

When the song ended, there were cheers and people clinking on their water glasses, wanting the couple to kiss again so Stiles will close that short distance to kiss her again.

"Alright, everyone," Thomas' voice picked up. "Let's let them get something to eat. Plus I know a few of us got some things to say tonight, and we're going to need some more champagne in us for that."

She sighs softly as she kisses him back, but turns and casts her father a grateful look as she nods. Yes. Food. Food is very, very important. She gives Stiles' hand a squeeze and waits for him to lead the way back to the head table with the rest of the bridal party.

He takes her there, as everyone else sits he holds the chair out for Cora to help her sit before sitting next to her. As he does, silverware starts to clink against glasses and he laughed and leaned in to kiss Cora because nope, there will be a lot of those before the night is done.

Yep. There's going to be so much kissing, not that Cora minds because kissing Stiles is very important. But once that's done, they're going to settle into their seats and get ready to eat. "God, I'm starving. I feel like I haven't eaten anything all day."

"Your uncle all but shoved crackers down my throat because he didn't want me having an empty stomach, but I was worried I'd be too nervous and embarrass myself up at the alter the first time I tried to open my mouth."

Their plates were put down in front of them and Stiles felt himself drooling just a bit. "Yeah, you may need to bring us another one," he told the waiter as he grabbed his napkin.

She laughs a bit at that, before moving to dig into her own. "Nadia should always pick the catering places. This is delicious."

"Yeah, it's pretty amazing," said with a mouth full of food as he's trying to add some more bread into it.

She laughs a bit at that, before nodding. "Careful. Don't want you choking on your wedding night."

He looked at her, swallowed, and then smirked. "You say that like you have plans to do with me later."

She laughs a bit, before nodding. "Well, there was this whole honeymoon thing. Might not be able to go if you start choking to death."

"Right. Yes, I must stay alive for the honeymoon." That evil grin broke out on his face, because yup, thinking about what they were going to spent most of that honeymoon doing.

She rolls her eyes at him before shoving him playfully. She knows what he's thinking (and she's not saying he's wrong), but that's not what they need right now. "Save it for the honeymoon, husband."

"Yes, Dear."

"Good boy." She finishes off her plate before sighing and leaning back in her seat. "So how much do we have left to do before our flight."

"I think we have to dance with our parents, have Scott embarrass me with a speach, cake, bouquet, garter, and then we can slip away and try to maybe sleep for an hour before we have to go back and get to the airport."

"Good. Then we have a list," she says with a nod. "I want some more of this dinner, though."

"Yes, eat before Scott starts talking. Otherwise we're going to end up choking on our food."

Her eyebrows go up a bit at that. "It's that bad, huh?"

Scott walked over and smiled, a microphone in his hand. "Let's just say that last time, I had to have my speech approved by the bride. This time no such rule was imposed on me."

Cora sighs heavily. "Please don't make me regret that, Scott."

"Too late now. I've already got the slideshow cued up."

"Slideshow?" Stiles' face paled.

Scott just grinned and motioned to the bartender. "He's going to need another round," he pointed at Stiles, and winked at his brother as he pushed away to head towards the DJ.

Cora just laughs as she leans back in her seat reaching over to give Stiles' hand a squeeze. "Maybe it won't be so bad."
